I began purchasing this product since 2022. I admit I don’t use it as religiously as when I first began, however, it is a very good product. The scent is of herbs and essential oils.the smell dissipates after a day or two. I apply to my scalp and hair shaft. The rice water will negate effects of Chebe on the scalp. Chebe is traditionally only used on hair shaft in Africa. I highlight, color, and use heat styling. This product helps me to keep my hair count high and retain any growth, strengthening strands

Note: My hair texture is 3c/4a, low porosity, thin strands (but a lot of them), and is bra-strap length.I've used this product 2-3 times a week for two weeks. While it's too soon to tell if it will lead to an increased rate of hair growth, I have already noticed that my scalp no longer flakes or becomes tight/dry between my weekly washes.My typical application process is to separate my hair into multiple sections, squeeze enough potion onto my scalp to where the skin is moist (but not completely soaked - as this causes the liquid to quickly run down my head), gently massage the scalp application area for ten seconds, and finally smooth any liquid that hasn't absorbed into my scalp downward onto my hair strands.Given that I noticed how the well product softened my hair as well, I often apply a light coating (about one teaspoon) to each section of my hair itself, focusing upon the ends. I realize that this isn't the intended purpose of the product - so I'm going to try other products within this brand to specifically use on my hair - but I was very pleased that the potion outperformed several of my other leave-in conditioners for lasting yet lightweight moisturization and softening.For its price point, quality of ingredients (especially the fact that the potion uses fermented rice water), pleasant smell (herbal and minty), and end results? This is going to become a staple in my haircare routine, especially as I'm very interested in maximizing my hair growth and length retention.

But nothing crazier than usual. I have also been using DHT blocking vitamins, taking iron and multivitamin supplements. This spot in my hair has been here since I was a kid the hair just grows irregular or slower or it falls out all together. When I relaxed my hair it wasn’t as prominent and when I went natural years ago I feel like I notice it more. It could be bc coily/curly hair grows out differently and can take longer. I also have been experiencing horomonal issues so that too. These pictures are within one month. I noticed I’m retaining more hair which is good. It smells ok and I feel a slight cooling sensation just ensure you shake it well before use

I absolutely love this product I deal with itchy scalp all the time and this is totally cured it I've been using the product for one month I'm waiting to see if it helps grow the hair back that I've lost one thing's for sure it gives you the fullness to cover the areas where there's not so much hair and that alone is helping mentally for me to get through this period in life I highly recommend this product.

Nice product but found out it has chebe in it and chebe, you can only use on their hair shaft not the scalp so if I do use it, I will apply it on the hair follicles only.

I have lost most of my hair due to a mystery autoimmune disorder that sprung up in my 30’s. Before that I have always had very long thick beautiful hair. I’m on my 3rd bottle of Curls & Potions Chebe Rice water. On the first use I instantly knew it was helping me because the itching has greatly reduced immediately (Thank goodness). Since then, the itching has subsided, my hair loss has slowed down to almost a complete stop. I’m so very grateful for this serum (THANK YOU!). No one really knows how much it has really helped me both physically and psychologically. If you have itchy scalp or hair loss I highly recommend trying this product.For me, It works best to only put the serum at the base of my roots. It is a little harsh on my hair strands because I have very fine hair. I also put a natural oil leave-in conditioner on the length of my hair to prevent breakage and tangling. I hope this review helps someone that needs it.

I use this product more than once and the results are amazing.I had to purchase again for the 3rd time

This is a staple for me whenever I'm wearing and protective style. It soothes my scalp, gets rid of any itching and irritation, and the ingredients are amazing for growth, health and hair thickening.I use this at least twice a week throughout my scalp when braided, crocheted, etc., and alternating with ayurvedic oils applied the same way with as nozzle directly to the scalp. Nothing else makes my scalp feel this good when those braids are itchy and new! And, the combination of this and my other moisturizing and ayurvedic products has made my hair strong and it's growing like a weed. This works well in any @CurlyProverbz regimen. It's like the equivalent of a tea spray/rinse for your scalp.
