Classic Corelle: Unbreakable until it isn't
Don't believe the hype about Corelle being "unbreakable." I fell for this marketing lie hook, line, and sinker. These bowls have the audacity to look delicate and innocent while claiming to be indestructible superheroes of the dishware world.Plot twist: They ARE breakable. Very breakable. Catastrophically breakable when they decide to give up the ghost. Here's what happened: I dropped one bowl. Just one. A tiny little slip from my hands. This "unbreakable" bowl didn't just crack or chip like a normal, honest piece of dishware. Oh no. It EXPLODED into approximately 47,000 microscopic pieces that somehow defied physics by scattering into every corner of my kitchen, including places that shouldn't have been mathematically possible.I'm still finding tiny Corelle shards weeks later. My vacuum cleaner is probably part Corelle at this point.BUT (and this is a big but), when they're not having their dramatic explosive moments, these bowls are actually fantastic. Perfect size for soup, cereal, or the tears of someone who just watched their "unbreakable" bowl commit dishware suicide. Classic Corelle quality - lightweight, stackable, and they clean up beautifully. So yes, I bought more. Because apparently I'm a glutton for punishment and I need bowls for my cereal.Purchased for: Replacement bowls after the Great Kitchen Explosion of 2025Still great for: Everything except surviving my butter fingers

Great Bowls!
Love this versatile bowls. They are great for meals, salads, chili, snacks, and soups. Light weight and pretty white, so they can be mixed and matched with your other plates easily. All my other Corelle plates have performed without chips, breaking and clean up well in the dishwasher. I think they are a good value as they are ligh, yet sturdy and I will have them around for a long time.

Best dish I ever bought!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This turned out to be the most useful dish in my cabinet. Can be used for salads, desserts, dinners. As a senior alone I have developed a habit of eating meals sitting in my recliner. No more dripping food off my plate. the size of these dishes is perfect for anything. Easy to cook in the dish in microwave and cleaning is easy.Functionality:Use for pie a la mode, spaghetti, meat, potatoes, and vegetable, eggs, soups, stews, or anything at all.

Corelle high quality made
I’ve always been a steadfast Corelle fan, and I routinely stock up on them as backups. Over the years, I’ve experimented with various glass plate brands and purchased numerous Corelle plates and bowls. Yet, none match the durability of the classic white ones. Other glass options tend to be much heavier and far more challenging to clean.I’ve also acquired several printed and colored Corelle pieces. I’ve noticed that some of the printed items feel bulkier—they’re thicker, less robust, and occasionally even crack in the microwave. Their resistance to breakage simply can’t compare to that of the traditional round white pieces, which offer the longest service life and are notably hard to damage.Although I do buy a few printed and square items for variety, the bulk of my everyday tableware is the round white Corelle. In over ten years of use, aside from the rare accidental drop, I’ve hardly ever seen them fail under normal circumstances. Even though they are designed to withstand minor bumps, they will eventually shatter if they fall on the floor. When that happens, they don’t split neatly in half; instead, they break into many tiny fragments, so it’s important to thoroughly clean up all the pieces. These dishes are exceptionally lightweight, stack neatly, and save a tremendous amount of space in my cupboards—far superior to most other brands. Additionally, the Corelle lids are simple to use, provide an effective seal, and are built to last. Occasionally, the lids may get stained, especially when they come into contact with fruit pigments that are hard to remove, but this doesn’t interfere with their functionality. The dishes themselves clean effortlessly in the dishwasher, drying quickly and emerging completely spotless, though it’s best to pre-treat any stubborn stains before washing.I wholeheartedly recommend this brand of tableware. They are thin and light, optimize space, stack efficiently, and have a smooth surface that’s easy to clean—all while being impact-resistant and durable. They outshine other similar glass products, and compared to ceramic or porcelain—which are heavier and more cumbersome to maintain—Corelle is a clear winner. I strongly endorse these round white dishes for everyone.

Classic, durable, large glass bowls
These bowls are LARGE! Great for large salads, hearty soups, and pasta meals! Cleaning is a breeze, and I appreciate that it seems like the old bowls from the 70’s. The bowls nest well in each other, so storing them is easy. I love the fact that they can hold up in the microwave, but it is hot when you remove from the microwave, so use oven mitts. I like the classic white, but none of the current designs were available in that size, so I didn’t have much of an option in appearance. My sister has my grandmother’s set from the 70’s, so I know these bowls will survive the test of time if you don’t drop them. If you’re looking for a tried and true company, & like the glossy white of the dishes (it’s a classic), & want to be able to use them in the dishwasher and microwave, and want to protect your family from microplastics, give Corelle a chance. They have other options for dinnerware then the traditional white round plates and bowls.

Plain and simple good quality
Good solid material with glaze finish. They are not very deep though as pictures may have shown. But they are true to size, dishwasher and microwave safe. Love how slick and stylish they look. Plan and simple
