They Work!
My Dad loved these and they look good on him and work. It took him a while for his brain to understand what he was seeings at first, so we thought they didn’t work, but they definitely do. He just had to take them off and put them back on again to compare what he was seeing before. He can now see the leaves changing colors and sunsets which he wasn’t able to see before. He would never wear actual glasses; he is too cool for that, so sunglasses were perfect for him.

Make sure you get the ones that best help you.
Don't aspect too much of of them. I can see a little bit better colors but on contrast some other colors that you see with them kinda mix.

Not for people who are color blind!!!
I have returned them they do not help people who are color blind. I was hoping to be able to see pink, purple, orange all different colors they don’t help at all.

My dad saw the sunset for the first time
I got these as a gift for my dad, who is colorblind. He couldn't believe how bright colors really are. He saw the sunset in full color for the first time today. It was a good day for everyone.

Good Purchase...with some qualifications
I am a moderate deutan (red/green colorblind). I was diagnosed as such in 4th grade and in the almost 50 years since then I haven't been able to pass a color-blindness test to save my life. I had heard about the Enchroma colorblindness glasses but was unwilling to cough up $350 for a pair, so I tried these instead. Here's what I found:(CAUTION - Colorblindness is highly variable among individuals and I can only relate my own experiences with these glasses. As they say, "your mileage may vary.")1) Though I wouldn't really call it a "life-changing" experience, these definitely give me a more normal color pallet, especially for reds. Red without the glasses usually look dark and not vibrant at all. I was shocked when I put the glasses on the first time and saw how RED my wife's roses really were. Wow. If anything the reds (and especially oranges) might be a little over-saturated, but maybe it's just my poor eyes being a bit overwhelmed. The glasses also help me see any color that contains "red" better, especially browns, oranges and purples. For me, mixed browns and greens kind of all get mashed up into vague greenish-brown mass. With the glasses, I see a distinct difference between brown and green. Normally, purple looks blueish to me. With the glasses, purples and even some vibrant blues look purple. (I suspect that some vibrant blues actually contain a tinge of red in them.) It doesn't appear that I can see greens any more vibrantly than before with the glasses, but I suspect they help me detect more SHADES of green than before.2) Both major brands of colorblindness glasses state that their products are NOT intended to help you pass a colorblindness test. After all, colorblindness is not curable. My analytical mind tells me this is true, but of course the first thing I did when I got the glasses was go to my computer and try some colorblindness tests. To my astonishment, I was able to pass various colorblindness tests (both on my laptop and smart phone) almost every time, including the one on Enchroma's own website. Go figure!2) These are really sunglasses and work much better out in the sun than indoors. They can sort of be used when working on a computer, but otherwise, I don't use them in the house.3) The frames on this model of glasses (TP-017) are REALLY cheaply made. (This is where the glasses lose a star on the rating.) I broke the frames on the first pair I had within 2 days of receiving them. Not sure how they got broke, but it wasn't because of direct abuse. I zipped them inside the provided case and put them in my backpack. Next morning, the frame were broken near the nose piece. To their credit, Ben at Pilestone sent a replacement immediately. The wraparound style of these TP-017 glasses don't fit well into the provided case. I suggest getting a hard case made specifically for wraparound glasses. That should help prevent undue pressure being applied to the frames when you store them in the case.CONCLUSION: For me, these glasses were well worth the money I paid (in spite of breaking the first pair). Although I didn't have the emotional experience that you see in the promotional videos for these types of glasses, they do open up a new expanded world of color that I had never really experienced before. Could I live without them? Sure - after all, I did for almost 58 years. Is my daily life just a little richer because I have these glasses? Yeah, actually, it is!

Works great for me!
Works great for me. I’m seeing colors I’ve never seen. I’m also able to tell the difference in colors that had always looked the same to me. Extremely happy!

Life changing, do it!
My boyfriend is red green blind and I had bought him a standard pair of correction glasses from pilestone he wore them so much that they finally wore out. I bought this new pair and he loves them. They are more of a man's style, durable and honestly look great. I highly recommend buying some. They are life changing
