It chops very nice! Extremely sharp and has a nice weight to it. Very comfortable to grip and use.

They don't make steel like they used to. It's heavy but not like the old fashioned ones and the handle feels a bit wobbly like it won't stay on with much use. But if you can put a new handle on it, it isn't bad especially for the price.

Excellent product for the money.

The wood on the handle is not covering the metal on the front grip. The protruding metal is sharp, if not careful can injure your hand and it has a big pointy metal protruding as well. The back side of the handle is all good. As well the blade has a bigger dent.I ordered a replacement, but it came with the same or even worse handle issue.We like the weight, size, and functionality of your product.We still kept it and ground the protruding metal down on the frontside of the handle to prevent injuries, can only done with a metal grinder.

Easily, the best meat cleaver I’ve ever purchased. I have not used the sharpener yet as I have one of those plug in grinders that works so well BUT this cleaver, after a good sharpening, cut the head off a whole pig (leaching) in one slice AND easily chopped through that spine and skin with ease. Amazing job, great quality and well done.

The knife is heavy duty and looks nice but the handle is loose. The only reason I did not return it is because I needed to use it for some meat I ordered and there was no time to replace it. I should’ve read the reviews because I see that this is an issue by reading some of the other reviews. I should’ve spent the extra money and bought one of the nice German ones.

Bought this for a pig roast. Worked great. Needs sharpening but that’s to be expected. No problems halving a pig skull.
