Really nice product that performs just as advertised. The upcut bit lifts the woods sawdust right up away from the piece you are working on prividing much better visibility and accuracy which is nice. Loce the bit and the features it provides. Supporting a vet is a pleasure and added bonus. Thanks for the five service and prduct.

The bit burned the wood. After trying to adjust the speed of the router, the depth of the cut, the width of the cut, the person cutting the wood, cleaning the bit, nothing worked and it continued to burn the wood. We ordered a new bit from a different company and it cut like butter. Deeper, wider, faster and no burning of the wood. You can see from the pictures the burnt wood from this bit and the smooth wood from the new bit. Same router, same speed, same depth, same width, same person performing the cut. Only variable was the bit. Hopefully can return this bit as we only used it one day.

Looks good out of the package. Was well balaced and worked great initially. I didnt even get through 1 slab of 2ft wide x 6 ft long maple before it dulled out. Initially excited, eventually upset because it wore out so quick and started chattering and chewing up the surface of my beautiful expensive slab.

Worst machining I’ve seen. Not sure what I expected for the money but balance is off, horrible vibration, dull and cheap carbide tips, and the shank measures over 1/2”.Used to flatten slabs using a router sled (2.5hp triton). Sled is dead flat and other bits don’t leave waves. This one does and the vibration rattles router screws and stops loose. I use a collet extension for thinner boards- this bit doesn’t fit in the extension. If possible to return used, I will.

I bought this due to the good reviews but was disappointed that the bit dulled so quickly. Flatting a small piece of walnut, it was dull by the 2nd 1/8 deep pass over the wood. 3’ long slab, first pass ok, 2nd wasn’t sharp enough to finish.

This bit worked perfectly with my router to flatten a desk top. Very sharp and does the job.

For the price, this is a really good value router bit. It left a pretty good surface on hard maple face-grain, but burned slightly on the initial plunge cut. Overall, I think it kept a good edge and will work great in softer woods.
