Not a fan
I am having a hard time reviewing this cream - I took my time to use it for quite a bit before writing this review, just to make sure how I feel about it, and I am still unsure. I cannot say I had a bad experience with it: it is a decent cream, a little lighter than what I would have expected for a night cream (it feels more like a lotion than a cream), but it is sufficiently moisturizing, and my skin seems to like it. It has a scent to it that I don't really like, a little odd, but it dissipates rather quickly.I think my main issue with it is that, based on the price, I was expecting a bit more from it. Maybe it's not really a match with my skin, but I am not seeing a difference with the night cream I normally use - if anything, my skin seems to like heavier creams better. It does seem to have quality ingredients though, and it might work for your skin - just not a match for my skin.

nice night cream, effective but not super hydrating
I love a good retinol night cream. This one is quite nice, with luxe presentation and a creamy, thick texture. It has a light, pleasant fragrance that doesn't linger on the skin once applied. It is a rich-feeling cream, but I feel like I need to apply several dollops to thoroughly cover and saturate my skin. I do feel the need to follow this with another moisturizer because I find it a bit less hydrating than my usual night creams, which are for "mature skin" (I am 55) and tend to be quite rich. This is meant to be used 2-3 times a week, and with consistent use over a few weeks, I am seeing improvements in my skin tone and texture. It's not making me break out, and some things do. As with all retinol products, I am careful to use a sunscreen moisturizer during the day while using this, as retinol can increase sun sensitivity. I really like this product and would order it again for its anti-aging benefits.

Smells bad and leaves a sticky texture
Very pricey for a cream that leaves my skin feelings, sticky and bad smell. It stuck around your face. Clashes with clones and just smells bad in general my opinion, but probably a popular opinion.

Not for me
This cream smells super gross and leaves my skin sticky after applying.

Smoothing and moisturizing, but...
This Le Metier De Beaute Rejuvenating Anti-Aging Night Creme was kinda confusing to me when I first opened it. I didn't see a way to open the top white part and ended up pulling a little white container out of the rest of the jar. This is strange to me, because that inner container takes up space in the jar. The jar is pretty small as is, but you are getting even less than you think by looking at it.After I finally got the thin lid on top off, I noticed the smell which is odd and peachy tan color. I had to check to make sure I got the night cream, because it looked more like tinted moisturizer or sunscreen. When I put it on it seemed to give my face a little color. Not sure why that is needed for nighttime. It seemed a bit heavy and was slow to absorb. I almost washed it off, but I gave it a chance, and it actually really smoothed and softened my normal but "mature" skin. It was pretty moisturizing too.I'm a little torn on how to rate this, because it works really well but I think some of the other details I mentioned could use improvement. I would say 3.5 stars if I could.

Love this
I know that a lot of skincare products can take a while to see noticeable results, but this one worked quickly for me. After using it every night for two weeks, I noticed a more radiant and smoother skin tone. The cream’s texture is similar to lotion, and it has an interesting peach color. It feels hydrating enough on its own, but I like to use a heavier cream on top since I have dry skin. It has a good amount of retinol at .05%, plus additional anti-aging actives and peptides. I’m not new to using retinol, but if you are or have sensitive skin, I would use it every other night to see how your skin responds.

Not as expected
At this price point, I expected something special. This does not feel special.Upon opening I looked for a safety seal. There was not one. Unscrewing the top brought me directly to the cream. I screwed the top back on, planning to think about it before diving in. A bit later when I unscrewed the top again, there was a cap covering the cream. I opened and closed it several times and consistently the cap would appear every other time, coming free from the lid. When the cap was firmly on I couldn’t pull it off without removing the entire little pot from the glass jar. Odd.The cream itself is a yellow ochre color with a lightly perfumed scent. The texture is somewhat runny and it absorbs quickly when applied. It was slightly irritating for my sensitive skin type.

Hydrating retinol cream, but tinted and scented
I expect a lot when 1 ounce of anything cost $100+ dollars. This cream has the ingredients that I look for - hyaluronic acid and retinol - but the rest of it is just not my favorite. This is not a typical white night cream, it's tinted, which I like for morning products but not night products (and I can't wear this is the day because of the retinol), and the scent is less than pleasant. Still, my skin does seem to benefit from the cream though, in terms of hydration, but it's a bit tacky (sticky) which I also don't like for creams, as they are the last product I apply nightly. All in all, it has the right ingredients and they seem to work well, but given the tackiness and scent that come with application, I wouldn't change to this from my typical night cream.
