Perfect for under the kitchen cabinet with 19" Insignia LED TV
Not sure why all the negative reviews. This mount worked exactly as advertised. My 5.5 lbs Insignia™ NS-19E310A13 LED HDTV has a 75x75 VESA mounting pattern. The bracket has one size smaller (50x50) and one size larger (100x100) too. The bracket swivels left-right at least 180 degrees. The bracket tilts 110 degrees for viewing from 10 degree above the mounted height (standing) or for viewing from below the mounted height (ceiling). I found the bracket to be sturdy enough to easily support my 5.5 lbs TV and could handle a heavier TV without issue (18 lbs max). The bracket includes the following mounting hardware: (1) 4mm allen wrench to adjust hinge tension (4) M4x8 machine screws (4) M4x12 machine screws (4) M5x10 machine screws (4) M5x12 machine screws (4) 5.5x25 self-tapping screws (4) 5.5x50 self-tapping screws (4) drywall anchors washers for all the above This hardware will handle three VESA patterns, drywall, wood stud, or wood board mounting. I opted to shorten/grind the self tapping screws to prevent them from penetrating through interior of the cabinet. My cabinet bottom was 3/4" thick. If you plan to thru-bolt it, you will need to purchase the nuts and machine screws at the hardware store. The bracket in the fully raised (highest) position suspends the top of the TV 3" below the cabinet bottom (1" below lowest cabinet trim edge) which was perfect. The bottom edge of the TV is 6 inches above the counter top.FLIP UP: I did not, but If you wish to flip up the TV and stow it parallel to the ceiling or cabinet base you will need a deep cabinet. Much more than the standard 12" kitchen wall cabinet. For my 19" TV, it requires the height of the TV (11.5") + 3" to the pivot point or 15" total cabinet depth from the front edge of the mounting bracket to flip up and latch the TV. This would also require routing all the wires/cables along the horizontal plane of the bracket, bent at the hinge/pivot, then down the vertical plane of the bracket to the connections on the back of the TV.One reviewer mentioned that there was no template for drilling the holes. The instructions direct you to use the bracket as the template. The bracket is light enough and is easy to use as the template. I worked from the bottom (outside) of the cabinet. This is a good product at a great price point.I would definitely recommend and order this bracket again.

Very good design. A few execution stumbles.
The multi-adjustment functions are terrific. The construction is sturdy. The under-cabinet configuration is well-nigh perfect - at least for our need, using a 16" "Sceptre" LED HD unit. The only possible design issue is that when folded up it will not lie within a cabinet depth of less than about 14-15". Now for the "flip" side: The instructions are poor and need to be stared at to figure them out. Even then, they take a good bit of imagination. As received, the swivel hinge was almost impossible to move and was an over-tight metal-to-metal interface. I removed the bolt and inserted a nylon washer, and that helped a lot. The adjustment then seemed reasonable. The tilt adjustment was also very stiff. And only by reading other comments did I understand the dual one-way design. Since both the tilt and swivel were super stiff, I played with adjustments before the installation. That was OK, but given my experience I would recommend NOT messing with adjustments until the installation is complete and the TV is attached. The dynamics of that will definitely influence where you wind up. The bolts that came with the unit for attaching the TV were fine. The VESA attach points were standard on my TV. I used flat washers and locking washers (not provided) to be sure the attachment would not "relax". The weakest aspect of the hardware provided (for under cabinet mounting) is the assumption of wood screws. In my opinion, that's NG no matter the thickness of the cabinet bottom. I took the advice of another comment and drilled holes (.25" flat-head bolts) in the bottom of my cabinet after using the bracket as a template. I attached all 4 corners and did counter-sink the heads in the cabinet. One caution: Use the minimum length bolts possible to avoid them (at least the front two) protruding too far below the bracket and limiting the amount of swivel. In my case, I reversed the bolts on the front two (went up into the cabinet) and lived with the nuts being above the shelf surface. To have as "clean" an installation as possible, we installed cable and power outlets in the back wall of the cabinet and ran the necessary wires to the TV through a pass-through hole i drilled in the bottom of the cabinet. Also freed up countertop area.Enough already - 4.5 stars.

Okay for the price
Compared to other mounts, for the price it's a good product. I anticipated a few flaws after reading the other reviews and there definitely are a few. First, having a template for mounting would have made things a lot easier, but not a big deal. Second, the hardware that it came with is unacceptable. The heads on the bolts are barely wide enough to secure the mount to the tv. I had to get new bolts with wider heads on them to mount the bracket safely. The screws for securing the mount to the cabinets are like 3 inches long, which is fine I suppose if you're securing it to brick or something, but I imagine most people's cabinets are an inch or less thick on the bottom, so I had to get new screws for that as well so they weren't coming way through on the inside. Third, when the tv hangs down, it angles backwards slightly and you can't get it to sit at 90 degrees no matter what you do. This isn't a problem when you're sitting down, but makes for a slightly awkward viewing angle when standing. The last flaw is when the tv is in the "up" position, it tends to sag over time. It may just be an issue of finding the exact tightness I need to set it at, but I have a very light weight 16" Vizio and wouldn't think I would have to tighten it too much (which also makes it very difficult to pull it down when it's too tight). Overall, for the price it's what I expected and a decent product. It's well-built and easy to install. If you buy it, I would anticipate having to do a little extra work getting acceptable hardware and realize there's some quirks with the mount and how it hangs and rests in the up position.
