NOTE: this review is for the zip top bags, not the bags with sliders!I fell in love with Stasher bags and started to build my collection, but it became clear that it was going to be an expensive venture if I wanted a decent enough set of silicone ziploc-style bags that I could stop buying plastic, one-use bags altogether. Enter Kavave! These are actually EASIER to get open than Stasher bags, and much more affordable! I love them so much, I bought more for gifts.I tried those beeswax wraps but couldn't really get them to work for me, plus I wanted something I could seal easily. These bags are so much better, and without the extra bar to seal it closed like some other brands need, it's less to keep track of in the kitchen. Plus, they are dishwasher safe if I accidentally let something mold in there!

I love these bags! It feels great not using as much plastic. I also really enjoyed the really large size for storing bulk foods from the grocery store or Costco (like nuts, trail mix, etc). I also used these hunting this year for snacks and they reduced the amount of plastic-y noise I made while out in the hills. They are heavy silicone, that has held up well over the last 3 months. I highly recommend, especially at the price compared to stasher bags. The little feet on the bottom of the bags is really helpful when it comes to filling. I can’t recommend these enough!

After being hesitant to purchase a much pricier brand I was glad to find these! The value is great, the sizing is perfect, and I like the mellow colors. The o my major bummer is that the seal around the outside seams of some of the bags aren’t fully melded together, and one popped open the first time I used it on one of the bags. Super bummed about that, but the other bags seem fine so far. As for the seal/leakproof aspect, I realized after some research that it helps a ton to squeeze the excess air out of the bag before sealing the top shot (that way there isn’t extra air in there making it easy to pop open when pressure is applied on the side). Overall, a great value. Just hoping they hold up!

I had high hopes for these but they are not durable at all. The seam on the side came apart during the first use. I reached out to the seller/company to see about warranty info, exchanges, refunds and did not get a response. Originally the item description mentioned "100% customer satisfaction" and spoke about a warranty. It looks like that has since been taken off the description. Do not buy this product. It will break and there is no recourse from the seller or manufacturer.

These are strong, sturdy silicon bags. They do stand up. They do not use a bar or slider, They are self closing very much like the Stasher, better price. Should last for many, many years. I will buy this set of 3 again and the single larger one they offer. I believe this selection will cover all my need. If I was packing lunches I would buy a half dozen sandwich size to finish my set. I love there is no plastic slider to lose or crack. I do recommend these.

I bought these not long ago. I like packing my child’s lunch items in them and using them for storage. The small and medium sizes are my favorite. They are not leak proof! Many of the reviews seem to be for a different model as the pictures often showed a zipper. Mine, like the ones in the seller photos do not have zippers. I like that there are fewer pieces for cleaning but they open very easily and I would not put anything in them that might spill. I have not had them long but did notice that one of them has already ripped down the side. So I don’t know if the others will hold up.Update: now one of the middle size ones won’t seal anymore. These should last more than a month and a half.

I absolutely love the idea of these. However they are not the easiest to clean. Mainly they don’t dry on the inside and you do have to wipe them down. The other thing is that I have had them for about 2 months and a part of it is cracking where you open and close. Maybe there is another brand that is more durable.

I am looking for ways to reduce my disposable plastics and these bags are fantastic! They seal completely and do not leak. Food stays fresh. they are easy to clean. the only drawback is I like the ones that are mostly clear so I can see what's in them. I won't buy colored ones again.
