Vintage Hotel Motel Keychain

So cute!

I bought this for my mom for Christmas! She loves it!! It’s super cute and she keeps it on her fridge! The blue color is like a powder blue.

Having been a SK fan for many many years, this was a great addition to the bookshelf full of his novels. Even considered using it for a while but it's a bit large for every day carry. It does look great as a book mark and brings back fond memories of not only the book, but also visiting the Stanley Hotel in Colorado.

OK, I like this - big, bright, fun (I ordered Overlook Hotel Room 237) and should help find my keys when I misplace them. The one big negative is that the smaller ring that connects the tag to the keychain is worthless. Mine failed almost immediately. Just take that off and and put the larger keyring directly though the tag.

Pictured are my three key rings. I originally purchased one of the Overlook Hotel ones back in late 2018, it’s been on my keys ever since. So that is the wear and tear of daily use for almost five years (month and a half off). I recently purchased a motorcycle, didn’t want the other objects on my keys to scratch up the gas tank so I figured I’d just get another Overlook tag for that key. When I went to my account to reorder, that specific item was not available. After searching through all the available other options, I decided to order from here again (this is the same company and provider that sold the original one I got, just a newer listing with actual options). The listing looked like it was pretty much the same item I was ordering, except this one has text on the back (original was blank on the back). I also went ahead and got the Grand Budapest Hotel one at the same time for the spare key (that one is pretty dope though, I might have to rotate which one I use). As far as actual differences between this version and the other: main thing is the key hole itself, it’s in a far more reinforced position, less likely to break. They’re the same length and width, these newer ones are thicker though, more sturdy. Lastly, text. This is where the Grand Budapest will fall short to the new Overlook tag… for the Overlook, they boldened all the text and it’s still recessed into the plastic, I think this will make the text last longer than it did on my old one. The Grand Budapest Hotel tags text is not recessed into the plastic, it’s ever so slightly raised. While it does look nicer in general than the recessed text, I’m pretty sure it’s going to wear off much faster. Also worth noting, I quickly learned with my original one that the triangular attachment between the tag and the key ring itself is complete garbage. Take it off and just put the ring through the plastic hole.

I got my cousin and I the "Shady Pines" one. We are both huge Golden Girls fans.

As advertised. Sturdy and holds up well. I've had it for years and it's still strong on my keys.

El llavero es muy bonito, excelente para fans de la serie Twin peaks. Es más grande de lo que imaginaba pero tiene buenos detalles. El cambio del grabado, como mencionan, se ha mejorado, dudo que se pueda borrar tan fácil con el tiempo. También es cómodo en el bolsillo.

Es un buen llavero aunque algo caro, las letras tienen un relieve inverso que hace que no se despinten la chocar con las llaves.
