Comfortable and Effective - Don't Let Incontinence Interfer w/Quality of Life!
Give yourself time to devise process and procedure. You will know exactly when the diaper is necessary. After Obie emptied his bladder outside I knew he wouldn't need one inside for a few hours. After he ate and/or woke he ALWAYS went for a walk. He was 19 so a precise schedule was not possible. Our walks became shorter and shorter - my aim was to bring him home on "empty" and tired enough to rest without anxiety or aggravation. He was blind and deaf; the nose was going too which was his greatest asset. He LOVED chicken BONE broth (no salt, onion or garlic) and was an avid partaker on approximately 1/4 cup when he woke and after walk. That broth kept him perky and comfortable to deal with daily events. Up to his last day with us he still had an appetite for Dr. Marty's dog food morsels soaked for at least 3 minutes in the bone broth and I sprinkled in Dinovite granules along with a their few drops of lickachops plus a bit of collagen from bulletproof. Oh! Unsalted rice cakes soaked in a bit of chicken bone broth was a great treat for him too.His vet recommended canned organic pumpkin (NOT for pies) which kept him regular and happily LAPPING up loudly his food bowl. Seizures got him in the end. The diapers were a godsend! I was not able to lift him outside during an episode. Even before that I didn't have to worry about him waking and beating him to the apartment door before he lifted a leg! Oh for the doggie door he grew up with, none here; went from large house with doggie door to apartment with zero doggie door. Anyway... back to diapers.Once his bladder was empty for the night I would line his diaper (he wore medium during the day and medium for night with pads made for incontinent women, extra absorbency and extra long) - then large was for the double wrap to last the entire night) Wrap the first with extra padding one way - for instance left to right to secure then the back up (second, large wrap no extra padding) the opposite way. You'll see. Sometimes the wraps come off if he brushed against something that hooks the secure point and pulls it away completely like a kitchen drawer pull or up against the sofa or bed. Again, you will see. A close eye when you first begin to use will help you figure out the configuration that works for you both. As long as Obi was strong enough to jump up on sofa the diaper did not interfere with getting up or down. Then he usually would sleep on his large, tempurpedic cushion with an extra cushion I'd place for his neck and face - he liked to spread out a Basenji trait. Their tails uncurl once body is relaxed and all fours are stretched out. He was an amazing companion and a very, very smart boy.If you've any question please reply to this post (if possible). Here's the Bottom line: Do Not Hesitate to purchase diapers for your puppy/young or elderly dog! I highly recommend them.

Look no further!
We used this product for my 15 year old dog who was losing his mobility to get up and out the door quick. He was about 80 pounds and we used the large. These are very absorbent, are easy and quick to put on.The sticky strip attaches easily and quick and they wrap tight but comfortable for no leakage. They stay on too, they don't move or come off during wear.Definitely recommend this product, and also recommend the auto ship, because if you have to run for male wraps because you ran out, no other really work as well.

Good Absorbency, but wish it was a little wider
I have a dog that will mark the furniture, etc when no one is home, so I have been using belly wrap when I am not going to be home or going to bed. He is 10 years old, so I have been using every belly wrap on the market for many years to know what works and what doesn't.Here is my opinion about this belly wrap.Pros:* Good price* Absorbency is good* Velcro is very strong. Almost too strong. When I tried to remove the wrap, it starts to tear wrap because the velcro was so strong.Cons:* The wrap's width is narrower than other wraps that I've tried. Even though it holds the overnight urination, liquid spread to the side of the wrap. (Other wraps that I used, the liquid usually stayed pretty much in the center of his belly)Overall, it is a good belly wrap and it does the job. But I will buy a wider belly wrap to use overnight and if I am going to be out of the house for a long time.Attached Photo for comparison:A and B belly wrap is another brand of belly wrap. C is the Vet's Best Comfort FitAs you can see, it's much narrower than the other ones that I have.

Great for even large volumes
I am here to provide everyone the information that is for some reason impossible to find anywhere. How much urine can this product actually hold? Most of you lucky people are only dealing with little leaks or accidents from toy breed dogs but I have a 60 lb dog with a medical condition causing him to overdrink and FULLY empty his bladder on my carpet in the mornings. So first I sacrificed one of the wraps and poured water in it. I got up to 3 cups and could still flip it upside down and have NONE leak out. Wow. It probably could have held more but I figured this told me what I needed to know. Now if you put pressure on the absorbent surface, it would absolutely run out like a sponge. But since my dog does not lie back down until he is fed in the morning, that's fine by me. So for real life experience, my dog has urinated 12 ounces into it with no leaks at all. The velcro fastener held tight for the hour or so until I removed the wrap. This product is excellent even in extreme circumstances and for mild incontinence, it would be a lifesaver.

Pricing
Although, I have rated this product high, it is very pricey. It works very well but when you have a pisser like my Yorkie budget has to be considered. I have replaced my order with another brand which is just as useful and he doesn't mind. I just wish Vet's Best could have been lower in price with more nappies for the pricing.
