DC Collectibles Batman: The Animated Series: The Joker Action Figure

I’ve gotten a few of the DC Collectibles Batman: The Animated Series figures now, and I love them. They take me back to my childhood, which wasn’t all that great, but Batman made it better. I feel bad for those who have had issues with DC Collectibles BTAS line, fragile joints that break, paint chipping, overall defects. I’ve managed to get lucky and get figures I’ve ordered online and not had any sloppy paint, and no breaking limbs or joints. The Batman and Joker and Catwoman I got all had stiff ankle joints and knee joints I could tell would snap if forced, I hit them with a blow dryer for 30 seconds, and no problem. Loosened the joints right up and now they’re fine. Yea, it sucks we have to do that, but the alternative is worse. If you plan on keeping your figure blistered to the card, Amazon may not be the best place to get yours. Amazon forces these figures into boxes that are too small, so the card will be bent/curved/folded. I planned on opening mine so I didn’t care, and the cards the figures were blistered to weren’t too badly destroyed, not as bad as some figures I’ve ordered from Amazon.So here we get the Joker, my favorite Joker to date. A little bit Romero, a little bit Nicholson, a lot Hamill. I know for a lot of people Mark Hamill is and always will be Luke Skywalker, and I’m sort of in that camp. But to me, Mark Hamill is and always will be the best Joker ever. He is able to do things with his voice that I just don’t think anyone else can match, (though Troy Baker gets close to sounding like Hamill’s Joker) Hamill has a hell of a voice. And DC Collectibles has made a hell of a figure. Here is Joker from the BTAS episode “The Last Laugh” (if you have Amazon Prime you can watch all 4 volumes of BTAS for free, I highly suggest you do) as well as episode specific accessories from this episode.You’ll get two fists which are on the figure right out of the blister, two sets of gripping hands, and two sets of trigger finger type hands. You also get a small yellow handled knife, a very small blue comb (I mean very, very small), a pearl necklace, a clear breathing helmet and a scope. Joker can hold most of the accessories with some work and patience, but the tiny accessories are small and kind of pointless. I would have preferred a clock attached to a keg of dynamite, or a pistol, something better. I really like that there are scene specific accessories to this line of figures, but maybe DC Collectibles could have found a better episode to pull from, I don’t know. But random accessories is better than none, so I’ll take ‘em without any more complaints. I’ve read of some sloppy paint on the Joker, mine is great. The teeth are all painted well, the eyes, lips. I didn’t have any problems with chipped paint on the gloved hands or anything. That’s something to watch out for I hear. The articulation is on par with the rest of this wave and wave 1, stronger joints and no pin holes in the sculpt which is nice. The rubbery jacket doesn’t hinder articulation much, if at all. Standard articulation, ball joint neck, ankle pivot, hinged hips, pretty much what we’ve been getting. I am loving this series so far. I’ve been waiting years for figures like this, I’m really elated with this line. DC Collectibles is really winning me over with this series and their Arrow TV Series figures, they’ve picked up their game in the last few months. For the price, the sculpt and accessories, the Joker comes FULL Y APPROVED.

Totally awesome, excellent paint details. Was surprised to discover that he comes with several accessories specific to the episode "The Last Laugh". Also three sets of different interchangeable hands, and a clear display stand. Definitely worth the twenty something dollars I paid for it. If you do get this Joker figure I would highly recommend getting the Animated Series Harley Quinn to go with it, that figure is awesome as well. -

It was a Christmas gift for my grandson and he had been asking for it for a very long time to go with his other Batman characters. He was very excited when he unwrapped it on Christmas day. So I would have to say that it was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!

I absolutely love this figure. Unfortunately the corners on the box came out bent pretty bad in my delivery. The only drawback is now I have to buy a Newer one with better packaging so I can open up this one. This toy is a Must Have for any serious Batman/Joker fans out there!

This is the best verson of the Joker EVER! Mark Hamill is THE SUPERIOR JOKER, Ceasor Romaro was unrealistic as Joker but He did an all right Joker, Jack Nicholson is a great Joker, Heath Leager's Joker is also great.

The figure was great but I am collector and the package was torn open.
