Okay. It’s taken me a couple of times to get used to this style of whitening gel! I’ve always used trays to whiten, and this gel applies a bit differently!After flossing and brushing, I actually grimace a bit (ha!) and push some air through my teeth to dry the surface a bit. If I don’t do that, I feel like the gel doesn’t adhere as well! It takes a couple of clicks of the pen and then a moment of patience to get a sufficient amount of product on the brush. (Which is soft, but not too soft to control.) At first, I became frustrated and clicked too much. Way too much gel! Give it a minute! I like that this gel contains charcoal, I regularly use a charcoal tooth powder regardless of whether or not the drawing of the powder pulls any stains I’ve worked quite a lot with color theory and know that diluted black (grey) can “stain” over yellow which visually cancels it. Not only do I appreciate that this gel is easier to control than my tooth powder (which gets EVERYWHERE!) I also like that it’s specifically designed to remain on my teeth for a time without giving me a horror show smile! The tint of the gel (somewhat transparent but definitely there) on application also allows me to know where I’ve put it and where it needs to go.After the gel is applied, the grimace returns to allow the gel to set a bit, so it can remain on your teeth. At that point, you’re done! Just remember to not eat or drink anything etc, the gel is lightly minty and designed to harmlessly dissolve away after it’s done. I’ve used this a couple of times before bed, which has worked very well since I’m not great at remembering that I’m not supposed to be drinking with it on! My personal preference (especially since I already have them on hand) is to go ahead and pop my molded trays in if I use the gel during the day. I feel as though it keeps the gel intact longer and reminds me to give it a chance to work!! It feels as though this gel is gentler than the feels designed for tray use, which makes sense since it’s designed to dissolve safely away. This gel doesn’t sting at all when it touches your gums, and hasn’t caused any sensitivity in areas that I have to baby a bit usually. Despite that gentle nature (and maybe thanks to that grey color effect) my teeth still appear brightened after 10-15 minutes of wearing the gel. (How long I leave the trays when using them. I rinse the trays after use and just leave the gel to do it’s little trick!)If you’re looking for a more convenient method of brightening your teeth without using trays, strips etc; this gel is definitely worth a try! If you find your teeth a sensitive for the typical gels (or, if they’ve become sensitive to them), this may be the ideal product for you! It’s a gentle effect, so it probably isn’t the best if you need a brighter smile yesterday, but it’s definitely a good way to clean up your teeth without torturing yourself! (And... Right now seems a good time to take on gradual improvements! We’re all stuck at home... For myself, I figure why not brush on this tooth gel, slack a mask on my face and go clean out my sock drawer! I can at least emerge with whiter teeth, brighter skin, and wearing matching socks! hahaha!)

My teeth are already decently white, I'd say, but we were having some professional photos taken so I wanted to make sure they were nice and white. Although I could see some improvement, it wasn't super drastic - but probably because I didn't have much staining on my teeth to start with. It was easy to use, tasted pleasant enough, and dried really quickly. Good value for the money. The only real challenge I had was that I needed to twist the pen a lot to get product out for the first time. I actually assumed mine was defective at first because I'd do a few twists and wait (nothing), a few more twists and wait (nothing), but it turns out you really need to twist it quite a lot to get the product actually down onto the brush and flowing - then it's fine from there.

Disclaimer I received a second shipment of the product for a review.The most important things to know is that:1.Charcoal is an abrasive, so this along with any charcoal active product whiteness your teeth by removing the layer of gunk you have accumulated over the years.2.Because of this don't expect this product to remove stains as this is more of a cleaner than a purifier when it comes to how it whiteness your teeth, even if it advertises it so.3.Expect diminishing returns after the first use since your teeth can only get so clean. For this Reason I recommend using this once every few months, this way you will see the most results and make the product last longer.4. Over exposer to rough substances like this will cause teeth and gum damage. So rub softly and slowly, avoiding the gums, and dont go crazy with this despite it being the softest charcoal I have seen.5. Overall I recommend this and believe everyone should have one while properly using it occasionally as a cosmetic.

I like this product because it is super easy to use. The only problem I had was remembering not to close my mouth immediately after applying it, but that’s a person behind the pen problem. so if you’re smarter than me, you should have absolutely no problem. My favorite thing about this product is that it doesn’t leave a nasty taste or in your mouth and it makes using this product easier than others if you’re like me and hate products that leave a bad taste or just make it hard to use. Although, I do “White AF” lacking professionalism.. and I did have to twist it for a minute to get the product to come out.

I received this product so that I could review it. I was excited to give it a try because I hate typical whiteners. I don’t want to wear a slimy wrap on my teeth forever and they always make my teeth and gums so sensitive. However, as I get older and drink more coffee the need to whiten has certainly presented itself in a big way. This is quick and simple. You aren’t going to get the same drastic whitening as some of the harsher treatments, but this gradually whitens as you use it. It’s so quick and easy. I put it on keep smiling for 69 seconds so it can absorb and then go about my day. I may not have all morning to dedicate to whitening my teeth, but I certainly have 60 seconds. It also tastes good. I’m going to be getting the light kit next because this has been wonderful. I love that I can do it walking out the door for my day or crawling in bed at night.

Couldn't tell it worked at all after a few times. I was disappointed as others seemed to have a good response. It was hard to tell where I was putting it on and to keep smiling once on so that it stuck. Had higher hopes.

I bought this product last year sometime and I feel in LOVEEE!! I received a coupon for a free one if I did a review but I never had any down time, but whether or not I receive it I want people to know that THIS PRODUCT WORKS extremely fast! It is definitely a MUST BUY!
