Outee Girls Kids Adorable Glitter Light Up Rain Boots

I ordered two pairs of these boots in different sizes / colors and the first thing you’re going to notice when you open them is the SMELL. I saw other reviewers mention that the plastic stinks, but I normally don’t mind a plastic smell (reminds me of happy childhood summers playing on pool floats) this is not that kind of plastic smell... it smells like a combination of weed and skunk and it is very strong. These boots are a bday gift for my daughter, so I hid them in my closet which was a mistake because my whole room smells like a skunk has been smoking a joint in there... for days.That aside though the boots are cute, the sparkles are very pretty and the lights on both pairs are bright and flashy. I’ve purchased other brands of rain boots in the past that have felt a little more durable and of better quality but these will do the trick. Any little sparkly girl will love these.

When I read other reviews that these boots smelled like weed, I thought, someone just doesn't know what cheap plastic smells like. I've bought several pairs of cheap rainboots that were stinky, but no...these actually did REEK of weed when they arrived. After a week outside and a combination of charcoal shoe inserts, dryer sheets, and extra strength Febreeze, they smell fine. They are extremely cute (even better than in the picture), and they fit well.

These were exactly what my little 3-year old grandchild wanted but unfortunately, they run small and the size I ordered wasn't something she could wear. There is a smell, but it is mildly obnoxious and fairly common for an entirely plastic boot in this price range. A few days of "airing out" should resolve the majority of the smell. Design is very cute, sparkles embedded are exactly what most young girls would like, and the light-up heel cinches it! Perfect. The interior of the boot has enough cushion on the bottom for a soft fit, but there is nothing between a child's leg or ankle except the plastic so socks are probably needed and they likely will make feet sweat. The ones my grandchild already has that she has outgrown do the same thing though. Bought these in purple and they are very colorful!

These are adorable... But they STINK. Strong chemical smell. Hard to tolerate.Only worn a few times and they have a pretty large tear. Very dissatisfied... Still stink even after a few weeks

Kids love these boots and wants to wear these everyday! Great for jumping in muddy puddles.

When these boots arrived they reeked of weed. It was so strong that I wondered if someone was transporting it in these boots. Luckily the smell is going away. It is only noticeable of you stick your nose in the boots now (5 days later). I think in a few more days it will be completely gone.On the plus side these boots are super cute and they light up. My daughter loves them. The only other draw back is that there is no liner in them so you definitely need socks.

I'm very happy with these rainbows for my 5-year old twins. The boots are sparkly, light up and have handles for easy pull-up. The girls say they are comfortable and ask to wear them, even when it's not raining. Very happy with these.

Bought next size up to last my daughter another year, but they fit as I expected. There was a slight odor to them, but not too strong. The glitter in the ones we purchased (white/clear) shimmers rainbow in the light, otherwise looks like gray speckles. She lives that they light up. The interior fuzz got dirty (naturally) and now the whole lower boot looks dingy, however, they are mud boots so I don’t really care too much.

These purplish boots arrived quickly and fit me, not a small 3. I had not realised you have to stamp your foot to get the lights in the heel to come on, which they do for a few seconds and then stop. Its fun and I suppose the shortness will keep the battery going but I thought they would flash all the time somehow if switched on. can one renew the battery? Could they be made so walking charges them? Also the light is not that bright,its a deep purple, would look great at night. The handles so far have stayed on mine ok but I will be gentle with them as others have said they fall off. They are not straight up but flare out a bit, i don't mnd that, will probably keep mine for dressing up occasions like New Year.

These look great and the light feature is nice, but the handles break and cause small loose metal parts to come off. I would be concerned with little toddlers as this could be a dangerous hazard. I have returned 1 pair, hoping that ordering a 2nd pair it wouldn’t happen again. Not even having them for a week and only wearing them once, it’s happened again and my little toddler hands me a small metal pin from the boot. It’s clearly a design flaw and is disappointing as otherwise, these are great boots. Be careful if you order these for a small child. I am unable to get in touch with the company and am still awaiting a refund for the first pair before I can send the 2nd ones back. I would be happy to try a 3rd pair of the company could offer me some sort of reassurance or improve the design.

Needed something quick as my toddler has outgrown everything and living in the UK you need wellies.These are pink, super sparkly, they light up and have handles to pull them on.My daughter hasn't stopped wearing them since they came out of the box. She can pull them on herself which is great.

Got them for my granddaughter, wow as soon as she opened the package,off when the slippers and on went the sparkley wellies.Then refused to take them off, three years old and pick wellies that light up, perfect. She was able to put them on with ease thanks to the handles. She absolutely loves them.

Sparkly boots that light up too, what more could a little girl want! Oh and they have useful handles to help put them on and makes them easier to carry.

Bought these for my 4 year old daughter. She absolutely loves them. Despite the novelty of the light up soles, the build quality is very good! So I'm happy too. Win, win. I definitely recommend.

Rank smell really turned me off! Colours pretty and lights look good but I have to question a manufacturing process that makes boots smell like that! Returned.

Words cannot express how much my 3 year old daughter loves her sparkly light up wellies. She has a purple pair at nursery and a silver pair at home and they are both brilliant!

My boy chose these and he loves them. He says they're superhero boots! They sparkle nice, seem good enough quality and light up great too. Happy splashing

These wellies are lovely and my daughter loves the fact they light up. However after 3 weeks of daily wear one of the handles has fallen off. The insoles also keep falling out

Purchase two pairs kids are happy and love the flashing lights and they feel like good quality and nothing more to be said

Quite see through and white rather than silver. Really smell strongly of chemicals too? Daughter loves them though.
