FANTECHFG 6 Inline Centrifugal Duct Fan, Metal Housing, 6", 303 CFM, 120V

I use fan tech fans all the time. I usually purchase from my supply house, but could not get it in time, so I ordered from Amazon with Prime shipping. I ordered 3 fans, and 1 was missing the electrical box cover.

Great booster fan, had a bedroom that was lacking the required Cfm, installed this unit on the branch 6” round duct. I bought the speed control as well, I wired it on a relay so whenever the main blower turned on it activates the booster at the same time. I recommend buying the speed control because without it at normal speed it will be Too much CFm you can dial it down to your needs

Using it as a suction / exhaust fan installed between ceiling joists at the end of a long run for extraction from Jenn Air downdraft cooktop. It supplements the Jenn Air exhaust fan. Works great. Very quiet. Estimate it increased airflow by at least 30%. The Fantech FC 6 Mounting Clamps, (sold by Amazon) allow removal of the fan for periodic cleaning.

So far after about a month of 24/7 use, this Fantech 6" fan has been amazing. Pulls/pushes an incredible amount of air, sealed, and with the speed controller from fantech i'm able to dial it way down to my needs easily.

Great replacement for my OEM in-line exhaust fan. Really moves the air out of the cooking area. Simple straightforward installation. Would recommend to any DIY homeowner.
