Easy chemistry
This book is what helped me pass chemistry. No matter what book the college follows this one is amazing at breaking down equations and making chemistry easy. Recommended this to my cousin who took chemistry many years later.

Great for General Chemistry.
Been using this book for several terms now for my general chemistry sequence and it was a little cheaper than buying it at the campus bookstore. Very satisfied with the purchase. Tro does a great job walking through the problem solving and using real world examples, but I've found that problems can ask you to find a given variable in an equation and the book may never give an example like that. So the book is good but you won't see every kind of problem i.e. it might be up to you to rearrange the equation. This is not a fault of the book just expect to have to do some critical thinking as they don't spoon feed you everything.

What a huge book.... It's well-explained, although not includes some details (stoichiometry names for example. i'm not sure). But professor talked about it in class. It explains electron shell and periodicity quite clearly.

Extremely heavy book
This is an extremely bully and heavy book of modern chemistry. It is fully illustrated in color and it contains material for a first year chemistry course in college or university, it is not calculus based so it is too 'wordy' is its arguments with heavy use of ilustrations.

Chemistry is my least favorite subject and the one I struggle with the most but this textbook provides lots of helpful examples that have step by step explanations. This is one of the few textbooks I've actually read and worked through completely and it doesn't disappoint. I went from getting solid C's in chemistry to an A-/B+ level, which I think is pretty good. I do wish the chapters were a bit shorter though but I guess it would be hard to condense all the material.

Amazon RENTAL
Got this as a rental for college kid. When I checked back about a month after renting it, I found that I could have purchased it for almost the same price. I called and was able to speak with a real person who wasn't in India. They were very helpful, very nice, and immediately lowered my rental price and sent a refund to satisfy me. The book was in delivered on time and in good condition. After you figure out where the rental section of books is on the Amazon website, it's easy to get the return label printed off. The whole rental system seems new and a little harder to navigate compared to other websites, but will do when you're looking for to save money. Amazon needs to make it easier to navigate the rental process before I try it again.

Great Chem Book
One of the better chem books I've used. I don't even really need the teacher in class since the book is so easy to read. It may flow a bit differently than other chem books you've used in the past, but it still touches on key concepts with a figurative and metaphorical approach that makes the text very reader-friendly. Definitely love the kindle version! Easy to navigate even when checking answers in the index so long as you use bookmarks. I would recommend this to any potential chem student.
