Not much to say about this cable. It's inexpensive. It works. I was happy it was still being sold, considering that the connector type is quite old by now!

I picked up this cable with the intention of cutting it up as parts. I wanted a cable with a built-in choke so I didn't have to improvise a clip-on one, but imagine my surprise when I cut this in half and discovered it's actually SHIELDED! I've cut up a number of cheap USB cables over time but this is quite possibly the first time that not only are the wires color-coded correctly to USB pinouts but it's also got shielding foil/braid around the inner conductors. This is essential for using near radio-equipment both to keep in the RFI from the electronics (which was what I needed) but also for keeping RF energy from scrambling the data on the wire. Using this cable 100% resolved all my interference problems I'd been having with charging/powering a dash-cam jamming my radio equipment. Since I'm cutting them up I wish this was a bit shorter but I'll probably get this one again anyway because the proper shielding is so important for my purposes.

Works well! I’m using a 2011 MacBook Pro and a Nikon D300. I had originally purchased a 25 foot cable, but I kept losing the connection. I assume it was because of the extreme length of the cable. I returned it and purchased this 15 foot cable, which works well. The only time I lost the connection was when my computer went into standby mode. I did have to close out of Tethering (using Lightroom CC Classic) and restart Tethering. The USB connection to my computer is snug and not loose and the connection to my camera is snug. I did purchase an inexpensive Richer-R Cable Clamp for my camera and have used it as well. It does a nice job of making sure the cable does not come loose from the camera. As others have mentioned, this is a more affordable cable than orange ones and it does the job. This is one of the few times that I feel as though I didn’t need to spend the extra money to make my life easier.

Listen if you're buying a cable because you need a cable to work and work properly. The model prices got you covered. If you're buying a cable to work and work properly but also be attractive at the same time, then these may not be for you since they are of a extreme minimalist design. That being said, however they're not bad. They're just not flashing and if you're looking to make a statement visually then these aren't them. But if you're looking to make a statement with your pocketbook because you're a thrifty smart spender then you should buy every one of these that you can get your hands on for any application that you need because every monoprice cable that I have purchased has lasted and worked as described

Monoprice is one of my favorite brands to buy things like cables and adapters from, and they have been for the past several years after I discovered them. They always have really reasonable and affordable prices on that kind of thing, and this is no exception. It is exactly what I needed—I was replacing the car charger style cable that I use to power the dash cam in my car with a regular USB cable. I wanted to just get rid of my car charger "power strip" socket splitter and use my multi-port USB car charger with this cable to save space and get rid of the annoying wiggly car charger thing that came with the dash cam. I have it run behind the stereo and climate control unit through a gap in the trim, then across the glovebox area, and then out the side where fuses would be on the European model of my car (a 2002 Volvo V70 XC AWD) and then up around the pillar trim and up into the head liner, and run to the dashcam itself mounted by my mirror. It does its job and had plenty of length. I couldn't find a 15 foot mini USB cable anywhere else, and mini USB is kind of a dying thing. I was really happy to find this high-quality cable at a low price from Monoprice.

I work in IT. Many of the newer equipment have USB-mini ports (though that seems to be slowly changing to USB-micro...not sure why not USB-C). Having a long USB-mini cable is a necessity and this works great with Cisco and Juniper equipment.

I guess I didn't really notice in the title of this item but yes this thing is 15 ft long. I got this cord because I was trying to charge my old old old laptop that hasn't been used since 2013. The charger worked great.

I plug this into my Xbox and to my XIM 3 and now l can use my 17 button Razor mouse playing console games. I am not cheating,for all you console gamers; I only have one hand so it makes us even well sort of, LMSO If you get fragged by Mach1ne13 the Gimp got you

Perfect cable at this price . I was going to buy more expensive brand like tether tools but decided to give this cable a shot . This is fantastic cable . I am using for tethered shooting with my canon 7 d camera . Loved it .

Using this 15ft cord for my PS3, so this will be the only point of reference i'll be referring to. Some people in the comments say that this cord feels cheap; but to me it feels about exactly the same as the ps3 one- Except for the fact that it's gold plated and EXTREMELY LONG. If you are looking to buy this as a ps3 controller charger(Like me, since the ps3 charging cord I have is super bent and on the verge of breaking), then this is exactly what you need! I only just plugged it in, so I can't say anything about durability, but DOES work; and the 15 feet of cable definitely is a huge upgrade next to the measly three feet of cable you had with the original. You can comfortably play from the other side of a small room, instead of having to be right up next to the television.A great buy!
