This provided a much needed increase in light for my garage. Before, I had a standard spot light, which provided light for only the area under the light. I couldn’t see much. Now I can see all of the junk I keep stored there! But a drawback is that now my wife can also see all of the junk I keep store there...

This light is awsome!! My room is super bright now! You really have to get used to this brightness especially if your switching from one of the old yellowish lights. My room now looks like an operating room in a hospital cuz its so bright. Its super easy to install. If you can replace a burnt out lightbulb then you can definitely install this bad boy! Its as easy as that. I highly recommend this light!

After only four months of operation, one of the three light arms has burnt out. The average lifespan indicated is 40,000 hours. We never leave the lights on in the garage for longer than what we need. At the very most this light has been used for 120 hours (1 hr/day * 120 days (4 months) = 120 hours so far. I will contact the seller regarding the 2-year warranty and if honored, I will update my review accordingly.I must also add that this is the second of two of these lights installed in my garage. The other one been in operation for around 8 months now and still going strong. Hopefully the one that had one leg burn out is just a random defect. These are really nice lights so I hope seller will replace per the warranty. If not, I have another idea of how to make a low-cost multi-socket assembly using off-the-shelf parts from big-box stores and standard LED lights. The finished assembly would not be nearly as pretty as this Y-Wing LED product, would not be adjustable, and the light output might not be quite as bright. I'll update either way in a week's time.UPDATEThe seller provided a kind response to my request very promptly. 2 stars added for prompt support and 2 more coming once product is received and installed. Again I much prefer this product over anything I would construct myself. :)UPDATE:I have full light once again in my garage! The seller honored the warranty and promptly shipped a replacement. 5-stars for a nice product backed by excellent customer service.

Got this for a friend. She loves it says it’s super bright. Made with good quality material. Highly recommend to anyone.

Wife wanted more light in the laundry room so I bought this. Its SUPER bright and well worth the $$$. She has not seen it yet as I got it today. Prior to that an incandescent and then florescent, then the LED in the globe housing. But this blows all of them the water. Buy with confidence.UPDATE: April 2020. Both LED lamps have 1 panel dead. Both lost a LED panel arm at the same time. So 5 months and now they are failing. I'll look at the warrantee, but I suspect its long past.UPDATE #2/Seller replaced the 2 units under warrantee. One new unit is DOA out of the box. The other new unit lights up fine. Not sure I want to warantee again, seems to be a buggy product. I took the plastic cover off one that had lost 2 of the 3 LED panels. Many of the LED's were burnt out and only a few still lighting up. Are the LED's in the enclosure getting to hot and failing? Don't know but just be aware that the service life is going to be short.

When I got this, a label on the top of the box indicated two set of ratings: 36 W/E27 and 45 W/B22 (see photo). The second values are the light's base types. This light's base is definitely E27. The E stands for Edison (i.e. screw) and the 27 is 27 mm diameter (B22 is bayonet 22 mm). So, from the box label, this must be the 36 W unit. (it measured 35.8 W, so close enough). When I ordered this, the ad page stated "45 W", which is CLEARLY WRONG, as even the box's label contradicts that.The light output rating, in Lumens, is 4500 LM. However, that is much harder to confirm (even for a geek like me), as it requires a test configuration that has a 360 deg spherical light sensor that is both hard to make and VERY expensive! I'm just say that "this light is very bright" and really too bright to stare at, so I didn't.I like the fold-out design, since it makes it easier to screw into a normal socket and then expand the wings. The degree to which they are expanded also allows tailoring the size and brightness the area being illuminated. The price is very good. This claims a 40,000 hour lifetime and 2 year warranty. I doubt that I can verify the life, given that that will mostly likely exceed mine given the its target use vs. my age and general health, but infant mortality is still an issue with new products, regardless of origin (this is from China, of course). So, I do need to exercise by warranty, who covers that? The is no address in the ad or the box, just the statement.I have purchased (US made) items with a "lifetime warranty" before, but when I needed exercise that warranty, I had to pay the shipping to the the manufacturer of the defective item (in one case, a kitchen faucet) and THEN I had to wait "6 to 12 weeks" to receive my replacement part, IF they agreed that the failure was covered by the warranty. Needless to say, I just went out a bought a mush less expensive replacement with a normal warranty and replaced it that same day. Learned my lesson.

The product I received is nothing like the image in the description. Mine has a larger center led fixture, with three "wings" that are much shorter/smaller then pictured. The item still works, and I suspect the one I received is likely brighter then the one pictured......but still, you expect to get what is pictured in the description. It also bears saying... I purchased this product on a "lightening deal" only to find that it's regular price is the same..... Amazon using questionable tactics to get you to buy things....making you think you are getting a deal, when in reality you are not!
