This thing is built like a tank
What a great product. I mounted this unit under a 5 gal metal bucket and added a solar charger. Goes off every day on time. Set timer for 10 seconds once a day. Delivers the right amount of pelletized floating catfish food everyday for up to two weeks before refilling. Shoots food from 2 to 40 feet across pond. Very satisfied. Update: I had to build a funnel inside the bucket to keep food flowing towards the center of the bucket to keep feeder cage full. Works great.

No worries. once all joints are sealed.
I sealed all joints from water issues and set horn to bottom angle. Throws like a pro. BUT twenty seconds only throws approx. 1/2 to 3/4 of a quart cup. I added feeder times to 4 times a day. I like not to worry about jams i have had O jams in10 months now. I love It!

Easy to program
The shoot, or horn if you want to call it, does keep the critters from reaching in and spinning the corn out. Batteries do last a long time. Easy to program timer. My only issue that I had was the spinner flappers broke after about 4 months of usage. This is the second one that we had to send back for repairs. Moultrie has been real good about replacing feeder. It would be more convenient if moultrie could send the replacement part instead of sending the feeder back. It’s an easy fix.

Heavy built, throws product well
Purchased this for a fish feeder. Running on 12 volts. Very happy with distance fish food is thrown. Probably about 30'. I am only running 2 seconds to get the proper amount of food for my application. Installed in Oct. Have only a little time running as of yet. 12 volt battery is a tight fit, but with a little effort, it will fit.

Works Perfectly
I've had this running for a couple of weeks now with zero problems.Keep the casting funnel level, or slightly pointed down, and it won't clog & jam.If you want the feeder to cast farther, just raise it up from the ground more.

Moultrie sells this item on a throwaway basis, If anything goes wrong you can trash can the whole $200 kit.Parts are no available for service or repair.

Junk
Bought this with just the broadcast section. Adapted it to a 30 gallon trash can. Intention was to throw fish food as it is claimed to do. Will not throw fish food or corn! Clogs up every time. Just junk!!! I won't bring anything with the Moultrie name into my house again...
