Great product!
Bought this to ensure that we were properly watering a newly planted tree. The probe is long and sturdy enough to measure moisture deeply. Love that the meter is positioned on the top rather than the side. Makes it really easy to read.

VERY SMALL NUMBERS AND HARD TO READ
i guess it is accurate, dont have another one to compare it to. BUT....you better have your reading glasses on as the numbers are SMALL SMALL SMALL. TINY!

Good quality instrument
This is a good quality built instrument with a probe long enough to get down in the soil for a good reading. It seems pretty accurate. The only thing you've got to remember about this tool is that it takes a few minutes to get a reading since it's not a electronic device with batteries, but I feel you get a better handle on a ph reading

It is confusing which one is correct.
I also bought another manufacturer ph meter and the results don’t match.

Built like a dollar store toy
Donte waste your money. The ph reader is useless. You can stick it in a bag of standard potting soil and peat moss and get almost identical readings. If you rely on the moisture meter to tell you when to water, your plants will die. It will give you a ballpark figure of the moisture and that's about it it. This cheap piece of equipment probably cost 50 cents to produce. Look elsewhere unless you want to get scammed.

I wish I bought this YEARS ago!
This device takes the guesswork out of watering. Not to mention soil pH - a must have if you grow any hydrangeas. (If you do grow hydrangeas, you know that the pH controls the color.) But pH is vitally important to success for many plants. I should have bought one of these devices years ago!

You get what you pay for.
It works well for a while but shouldn’t be left outside. It fill with moisture and destroyed the unit.
