C&XanaduCat Mask White Paper Blank Hand Painted Face Mask (Pack og 3)

I have never made or decorated a mask before so this review is from the perspective of a total beginner. First of all, I love that there are three in the set. One for me, one for my son, and one for whichever of us messes up worse and needs another one. They are the right size for us (one adult and one teenager). I am surprised how sturdy they are. Yes, they are paper, but it’s really thick and well molded, not flimsy at all. The elastic is the right length and seems securely attached. Even the eyeholes are well placed. I would say that the only thing I would change is that the nose part…like, it goes under the nose, across the nostrils, blocking the nostrils. And if I smile, my top lip gets caught under that edge. It maintains the line of the mask across the lower part of the face, but it’s really annoying. The good thing though is that it will be easy to modify with a pair of scissors, just trim off that little part under the nose to make it easier to breathe and not get my lip stuck.The edges are smooth so it should be pretty easy to decorate. I bought some pretty gift wrap that I will use but they’re sturdy enough that you could attach fake gems, or steampunk embellishments or whatever and it would hold. Mind you, they ARE paper, so using a lot of liquidy paint or whatever is not going to be the best idea. This is probably mostly a concern for young children but they’re likely too big for a young child anyway.So, to summarize, LOVE THESE! Terrific value, great quality. Looking forward to decorating them. Will update with photos and overall how they held up throughout the process.

I didn't think about taking a picture of these before my daughter painted the masks. Here they are, painted. She used various acrylic paints. They painted very well. The elastics are easy to put on the masks. They seem strong enough but the masks she made are not meant to be warn so I do not know how long the elastic would last in wear.

Some people were complaining that its cardboard, calling it a scam, but it clearly advritizies as a paper matirial lol. Cardboard is better because hot glue wont melt it like plastic, also it sticks better. You can also cut cardboard if u wanna change the ears or make the eyes bigger! Overall, really good, not a scam + it comes with elastic straps!!! :D

When I put it on, the mask didn't cover my top lip. It made it look a little silly, but that was alright. I wish they had a instruction for the elastic band. It was a difficult challenge to put it on. I decorated one mask because I got the elastic to stay on. But the others I absolutely could NOT. Overall, it was a pretty good mask. Recommend it.

These masks were perfect for her project. She’s made a variety of these masks in different breeds of cats. Very good product. When she’s ready l will definitely order again

These were super nice quality! Very durable and easy to paint. They’re a nice thickness and fit both my small kids and me! Tons of fun to decorate.

I bought this to DIY as part of a T Swift halloween costume. It was a matte finish and easy to use markers on to make my cat face design. All I needed to do was around the eyes and mouth. The package included 3 masks which was helpful because I thought I may make a mistake but I didn't and ended up giving the other 2 to my friends daughters to draw on and make their own masks. The masks come with the elastic attachments and would fit most normal size heads. You could tie the elastic at different places to adjust for a child size head. I was very pleased with this purchase and it completed the costume well.

I have felted two of them. Working off and on on the third. Amazing quality, and comfort. They are easy to felt. If you don’t burn your self with hot glue (I am not careful with hot glue) over all amazing. Durability is okay, what I recommend to do for a little durability is hot glue the inside of the nose, ears, and the mussel like area. Ofc it will smell like hot glue but adds some durability quickly.
