Sprinkler Timer for Garden Electronic Irrigation Controller System | Rain Delay/Manual, 2 Solenoid Valves, Programmable ,LCD Display

*** Update 12.7.23. Timer is dying. The numbers are not fully visible anymore so unable to program timer anymore. The timer is exposed to sun and rain so not sure if thats the reason it hasn't last so long. Battery compartment is now a pain to open also.***Update 11.20.22. Customer service is great. they responded to me and sent me a replacement. New one is working just as good as the 1st. If it leaks, make sure to use plumber's tape.**Worked fine when purchased in April. Leaks little water but after using plumbers tape, leaking was minimal. But, just this weekend, when I checked on the sprinkler timer, it stopped working. Put in new fresh batteries and still nothing comes up on the screen. I emailed the company directly as return window on Amazon is closed. We will see if they help out at all. I will put an update if they respond with a resolution.

This is a good water control timer. You'll need to use high-end AA batteries - it won't operate on the cheap brands. Also, you'll need to keep the digital display covered with a rag or paint the removeable plastic cover white. The sun will burn the LED in no time. I learned that the hard way. Once the display is destroyed by heat or intense sunshine, you won't be able to reset the timer to your schedule. Other than that, it lasts for years.

Worked okay for about 2 months. Very strange interface that was hard to work with, and trying to turn on manual mode was also hard to control, as it wanted to turn both stations on at once. The whole reason I got this thing was to stagger stations, not use both at the same time. Broke after 2 months and won't turn on at all. Before then, the display was acting up and had random bits turned on constantly. I bought new batteries, and nothing happened. Terrible junk that I thought would save me money. Nope. Get an American brand in the first place. Do not buy.

This was an emergency purchase to protect my vegetable garden before I went on vacation. The one I had started slowly not working over a week and finally gave out 3 days before I was to leave. I "primed" this order and installed it the day before I was to leave. When I came back, my garden had perked up considerably with the regular watering schedule needed in the desert. It's a month later and the unit is still working the way it's expected. I wasn't able to purchase one locally as Walmart and Home Depot, the only stores which would carry this within a 40mile drive, just didn't have a comparable unit.

Decent product but I could not get the connection to the water spout to stop leaking no matter how tight it was (and yes I know what I'm doing when connecting to water lines). The leak wasn't coming from the threads, but instead from the fitting itself due to the way it was designed and would leak water constantly. Device was easy to set up for time schedules, but turning on the manual water functional was not the easiest process as it defaults to turning both spouts on (which isn't always desired) and the user only has 2-3 seconds to turn the timer to 0 min for a valve before the valves open and dump water everywhere. It would be nice if the default setting would prompt to ask which spouts to open before automatically opening the valves.

This is so easy to use and set up! It also is an amazing price. This has been a life saver with the drought we have been facing this year. Also makes gardening so much easier, you can set the timer to go off whenever Youd like and can stagger the times, so you have full water pressure on each sprinkler. saves me from watering my garden at 5am. It also has a rain delay so you can skip watering if it rains and you can set it to water every day, every other day, or even twice a week if you'd like, along with more o[tuions to choose from.

I couldn't get the thing to connect to my water faucet without leaking. Since it's plastic, I ended up breaking it by over tightening. I should've used plumber's tape but I was in a rush :( other than that it was very easy to setup just wish it wasn't a plastic connector to the water faucet.

since the day I am using it, every week I have to change the battery. with low battery it does not work.

Battery doesn't stand for 2 days. Branded expensive Alchaline batteries were used but didn't last longer.
