JTSprockets JTF1591.16RB 16 Tooth Rubber Cushioned Front Countershaft Sprocket, Single

Works great on my FZ07, went on no problem. The OE one that came off also had this rubber cushion material on it. I recommend getting a new nut from Yamaha when you replace this sprocket, because the locking tabs are meant to be used once.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I recently replaced my chain and sprockets. The OEM front was a rubber dampend and ran quietly. It was worn, so I replaced it with an un-dampened unit and it was annoyingly noisy. I even took it off to make sure that I wasn't hearing noise from the transmission itself, because I swear I could feel the difference. Amazon says this doesn't fit the FJ-09, but it does. The difference is night and day. The rubber dampened sprocket doesn't cost much more than the loud sprocket, but it runs smooth and quiet.

Installed on my Yamaha Fj-09, that rubberized 525 front sprocket reduces chain noises and delivers a smoother transmission to the rear wheel.

Fits 2015 FJ09 perfectly. 1k miles on it and no issues. Smooth and quiet. After cover was off, took about two mins to replace requiring the removal of just the sprocket bolt.
