get a usb wireless mouse trackball
First you need a wireless mouse http://www.amazon.com/AGPtek%C2%AE-Wireless-HandHeld-Rechargeable-Trackball/dp/B0056Y8CRS/ref=pd_sim_sbs_147_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=05MR0AC4RS97JXXZ7170 I like this USB wireless finger mouse ah Trackball.... it works on the uGoos...smile. The wireless controller that ships with this is OK I guess.... hum get a wireless mouse. Then you will also need a blue tooth keyboard I have a $12 blue tooth keyboard working but it's small and well worth $12..... I've got a full size Microsoft USB wireless keyboard that I'm going to test to see if it works on the uGoos. I didn't think the wireless USB trackball would work BUT it did.Well the Microsoft keyboard doesn't work. oh well. The keys got stuck as in aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.I'm a newbee on these kinds of devices. SO sounds good listening to Pandora. The picture fills my big screen TV nicely with YouTube. I might up date this review once I've explored the uGoos a Lot more. cheers

Fast, large memory, makes a nice Linux PC.
I never even tried watching video with it, but reflashed it to run as a Linux workstation. You can download the ready-to-go Ubuntu image from the manufacturer's website. It's easy to setup Linux. It it noticeably faster, and has double the RAM and flash compared to most boxes of this type.

A Total waste of $$$
I wanted to run this unit awhile before I wrote a review, unfortunately the ut3s turned out to be a $155.00 waste of money as the unit suddenly stop holding a wifi signal. I bought this unit in March 2015 for our guest room so it has only been used 5 or 7 times and now it's useless, after contacting the seller I was informed that it only has a 30 day warranty and that I would be responsible for all shipping and repair cost. I think for a unit at this price point the product should carry a better warranty - O' well live & learn. This turned out to be a waste of money!!!!

One of the best Android boxes and manufacturers out there
I bought this box in June of 2015 (direct from China) and have been using it for over six months now. This is not my first Android TV box. I have had much success with the brands I purchase, however this is one of the best manufacturers. They provide many options others lack and they have a good reputation with firmware updates. If there is no manufacturer support, then the product will become worthless rather quickly. The Ugoos options (from the custom firmware) has many special features such as a simple option to turn on or off root. One of my favorites is the option to manually put the box into sleep mode, or tell it to automatically sleep after being idle for a set amount of time. You can also set a temperature threshold to have the fan run, or have the fan run all the time. I like the fan as it really helps keep the internal temperature down and its is extremely quit. Oh, and I know the temperature because you have the option to display temp, ram, and cpu stats on the Notification bar.The firmware updates have come out regularly, with the latest Android 5.1.1 being released in Feb 2016 - nearly one update per month since its release! The firmware also supports a dual Linux/Android boot with the option to install Android only as well as options to change the partition size of the box.WIth 4g Ram and a quad core processor, this box packs plenty of punch. The 32G of storage is good, couple that with the option to move apps to SD and you'll have plenty of space to store all your apps and games. My faults are the stock remote and partition size. You will want to get another remote (preferable with a keyboard), or use the RK Remote Control app on your phone and change the partition size when upgrading.

Solid and fast TV box with dual boot feature
While I was a bit sceptical if this device from China is good I have seen that:-support from the manufacturer is excellent, there is also a blog on the Ugoos website whereyou can ask your questions and check/download the firmware/software release notes.-The device hardware is robust and needs only some Watts of electrical power-It features a dual-boot software which allows to run Android for media consumption or Ubuntu for more serious work-Device boot time is about 20 seconds which is very good compared to other boxes-The software is mature and new features/improvements are added in regular intervalsIf you are interested to run newest Ubuntu 15.04 on this box you can find more details on my blog "bitkistl".http://bitkistl.blogspot.co.at/2014/12/ugoos-ut3-dual-boot.htmlYou can find some extended reviews on Youtube.

mainly because it had a fan and it has the best graphics card
I decided to cut the cable, And started researching streaming box's. After a lot of searching,I decided to go for the Ugoos, mainly because it had a fan and it has the best graphics card, well,it also has 4gb ram/32 gb rom..It says its a duelboot,But the one I got seems to be only a android unit. The unit was loaded with kodi,Which I was excited about..And if the box ran without buffering..I would have given it a 5 star rating. Now keep in mind that my internet is 50 megs per second, which after doing a speedtest,Is what the box was receiving..as soon as I clicked on an app for a movie in Hd, The buffering started...Bummer,now to be honest..Most movies and some channels like you Tube seem to work perfect! but I have had it for a week now,And some serious issues might be appearing: first, today when I turned on the unit, the ugoos logo appeared as normal while booting up,But then it just went black..I had no control of it,so I unplugged it,Restarted it and the same thing again..Yikes! I had to unplug it again, This time I waited about an hour and restarted it again...It booted up and the main screen came.."Whew"!..So I clicked on Kodi and the screen went black again..dang! I shut it down again and restarted it..This time it loaded and when I clicked Kodi..It worked..I thinkl it might have some kind of bug, But if it continues this behavior..It will be going back. The 4 stars is because when it does work,it works great,Its as fast as my phone,And actually faster than my laptop,,Maybe I'm doing something wrong, because I have loaded 30 apps on it so far..anyway,If you are looking for the "Hot Rod" in streaming open source box's...This is it.
