USB to HDMI Adapter, HD 1080P Video Audio Converter, USB 3.0 to HDMI Adapter Cable for Multiple Monitors, Support Windows XP/10/8.1/8/7 (Not Mac, Linux, Vista, Chrome, Firestick) (Black)

I'm using this USB to HDMI adapter on a Lenovo Ideacenter A720 with Windows 7 (Pro) 64 bit and 6 GB of RAM.This adapter works perfectly UNTIL it heats up, at which point the video becomes choppy. This is all understandable. To get around the heat problem (and to also keep the adapter working for as long as possible [heat destroys electronics]) I simply removed the case from the internal circuit board and I sit it on top of a portable USB fan. This effectively cools the adapter and allows it to function perfectly. This is just a temporary set-up until I can build a permanent fan enclosure for the adapter. A monitor connected to the HDMI out port of the computer, and a monitor connected to this adapter, both sitting side-by-side and both playing the same movie using Stereoscopic player, and connected using HDMI cables, appear to display identically. I have not tried this on anything other than Windows 7. For the money, this has been a great buy for me.

Despite the seller stating that this product will work for all versions of Windows, it does not work for at least Windows 10. The box states that it was not designed for Windows 10 (see picture), and when i tried to use it installing the driver crashed my computer and made it impossible to start until i rolled the system back. Additionally the box lacks any brand information on any side. No Logo on the front, no copyright on the back, on information about support lines or anything that shows it is a product from a legitimate company.

I needed this product to install double monitors and after making the proper connections, this product failed to work. I ended up going to Wal-Mart and paying a little extra for a name brand product that was basically plug n play.

This is not as good quality as described on the Web. When connected to the screen from computer, the screen appears... yes, but there is a time lag and a little bit of activity disorder. And there was a little bit of a scar. There must be better to Buy a cable made of one and connect it, and this problem will be disappear.

Do not trust the product description — I got my adapter and the first time I connected it to my Macbook Air (circa ~2013), a notification popped up saying the device was "not readable by this computer." Waste of money.

This item didn’t work. Unfortunately, I didn’t test it when I received it. When I finally needed it for a training presentation I was doing, it wouldn’t work. It was too let to return.
