The Brightest of Several Different Models Purchased
I purchased four different lighted bases and even though this one, the "ASENTE White LED Crystal Round Display Base w/Mirror Top - 3 Inch Lighted Display Stand" has only the color white, I like it the best because it is the brightest. If you have a tall or highly colored art piece to illuminate, this is the one to get. The bright LEDs light all the way to the top of the piece quite nicely. The others I purchased were too dim for my desire. Additionally, the others I purchased run on AAA batteries, which have short life spans. This model runs on AA batteries, which should provide much longer run times (I have not tested them for battery life, however, AA batteries have considerably more energy stored). PROS - Very bright - AA batteries for more lifetime before replacement or recharging - On/Off switch is on the side, thus you don't have to remove your art and turn the base upside down everytime you turn it on or off. - Beautiful glossy black exterior - 3" diameter base - perfect size for my art pieces CONS - No colored LEDs. Depending upon the art piece, colored LEDs may add some cool effects and interest. - 3" diameter base - may be too small of a diameter for some art pieces. - No external power jack. If you wanted to run this from a USB lithium battery or a USB charger, there is no way to do this. Of course, you would have to deal with a wire going to the base. I am buying two more of these bases, and buying no more of the other bases I purchased. I am very satisfied with this illuminated base.

The LED light
These work great under small glass items you want to show off. I ordered an extra set. I like just the clear light and easy to replace the battery.

Battery points and small chip
Use them to light paperweights. Bought six and two are defective. One has a small chip on the edge, but usable. The other one the battery springs were installed incorrectly so can't put in batteries, so can't be used. Otherwise, great lights, very bright. I have ordered them in the past.

Great displays
I have been using these for a few years now and let me tell you, they are awesome!. The lights have not burned out and have been super colorful for the whole time I’ve owned them. I leave them on day and night nonstop all year long and the batteries do not burn out super quick at all. They serve a perfect function for displays and they look fantastic, not to mention the color changing is an awesome little added effect. They are small enough that you can fit them in the tight spaces or even on small shelve. And it’s real simple to use them. Just put the batteries in and push the button and you are good to go.

Nice colors
Love it and I'm on my second one in 4 years. I put a 20 pound clear crystal on it. The light changes colors and highlight the gas bubble pattern in the crystal. It's spectacular. It is a bit fragile for the weight and that's why I'm on my second one. The cleaning ladies were too vigorous and kind of broke it while cleaning. I've had no issues since I bought the new one and the cleaners are aware of it now. I gave 5 stars because it does its job well, just probably shouldn't put a 20 pound rock on it.

nice stand for a paperweight
lights my paperweights well, but it burns batteries quicker than i would like. i like the power on all the time so i can see the paperweights al the time, but it runs through batteries fairly quickly this way. the stands are attractive and it's nice that they run on batteries.

Inexpensive, VERY BRIGHT, no color change, does not rotate
This wasn't exactly what I hoped it would be, but I've learned to use it in a way that works for my purpose. Firstly, I did not pay attention when I ordered it. I thought it rotated, but it does not. That's my fault, not the manufacturer's. The light is clear and does not change color, which was the main reason I wanted it. The light is VERY bright and concentrated in one spot. It's too intense for my purpose (I have a solution). If I set a clear bottle of liquid on top, it looks gorgeous in person but my camera doesn't like it at all. I get lots of hot spots in my photography no matter how many adjustments I make. To work around this, I cover the light with a piece of sheer sticky tape, or sometimes I'll lay a piece of lightweight white fabric over it. Anything to diffuse the light and take down the intensity a bit. All in all, I think this little gadget is absolutely worth the price.
