Doctor Dr Who Tardis Throw Blanket

I didn't come to Amazon with the intention of finding a TARDIS fuzzy throw blanket, so I'm very happy I stumbled upon this. I was originally in search of a microfiber bath robe to replace the one I have, which is getting kind of delapidated. Imagine my surprise when I saw both the price and the high rating this throw fetched. I'm not a small lass, yet this throw swallows me and is immensely fuzzy and warm. My kitties are especially going to love it too! As others have pointed out, it's not merely a blanket with a TARDIS imprinted on one side; the pattern is all the way through (and reversed on the opposite side). The reverse side, that one would wear against oneself, is a little bit longer in the pile then the front but only to help keep body heat in, I tend to keep my bedroom relatively cool so this will be great fun to snuggle into while watching our favorite Doctor. I'm probably going to buy one for each of the Whovians in my family as Christmas presents. Got to get back and snuggle under that warm throw now, it's chilly even though it's Springtime! UPDATE Well, it's been just about a year since I left this review, and I'm still lovin' my fuzzy! Only complaint is the sewn-on border -- or rather, NOT sewn-on. It kept coming off in spots and I kept sewing it back, till I finally got annoyed with it and ripped the whole thing off. No fraying or coming apart, either! I recently washed it, and it's completely intact. So if the border becomes a nuisance, just rip it off.

I originally got one for Christmas, but my wife stole it from me because it’s super soft and soooo warm. Then it became the dog’s safety blanket. Mochi: The TARDIS makes everything better. Thunder is no match, nor are fireworks. Early morning zombies while the humans are still sleeping are calmed by the TARDIS. Snuggles are made all the snugglier with the TARDIS. The TARDIS keeps me settled when the humans are working or doing chores. The TARDIS is also the bestest place to snoozle, and enjoy a no-hide chew! So since the dog obsconded with the original TARDIS, I bought my wife a new one. The dog has claimed the new one as well, but at least now my wife has a fighting chance. One of these days, we’ll add a third to our collection, because, well, they really are that comfy and just the right size!

As a Whovian and a lover of all things warm and comfy, this throw blanket was a necessity. I hesitated at first because of the almost $30 price tag but now that I've received it, I regret nothing! This blanket is so soft and warm and feels really nice on the skin despite the fact that it's polyester. I also love the attention to detail when it comes to the graphic. The back of the blanket has the graphic of the front but flipped over like a mirror. This blanket is way larger than I expected a throw blanket to be. It's pretty long so you can definitely wrap it around yourself comfortably. It completely covers my twin bed. And that's where I keep it for a little pop of TARDIS in my studio apartment. These are currently on sale at other sites for a lower price but I opted to get them on Amazon because they were only a tiny bit more expensive and were also eligible for Prime.

This blanket is SUPER SOFT, even after a few washes. Like all fleece/soft blankets, I recommend washing by itself to avoid it getting lint from other blankets, especially because they really show on the dark color. As a huge Doctor Who fan, and someone who loves soft blankets, this is a win-win. It is also bigger than expected, which I love. Snuggle up in the Tardis!

Gifted this to someone recently, I have my own, I'm 5'6", they 5'10", and it's a long enough blanket to be able to tuck under your feet when lying down without losing blanket for your shoulders, I can't speak for taller individuals, but it is a longer than average blanket. It's light as well, if you overheat at night but need a blanket, lying under a fan with this is so comfy.

I absolutely love this blanket!! It's very large and extremely soft and cozy. It isn't as breathable as I was expecting, but I don't mind. I'm only giving this 4 stars instead of 5, however, as the black border/lining around the edges of the blanket started to come off shortly after I starting using the blanket. The stitching on the black border is pretty loose and poorly sewn.

My Dr. Who fan loved this blanket. Much more substantial than I anticipated. And much longer, great for a really tall guy. He just loved it! Soft and a nice deep blue, it is worth the price I paid. Again much larger and substantially nicer than I thought when I original went to buy it. No regrets, just glad I bought it when I did!

This blanket is a warm but lightweight fleece blanket. It's in a print to make it look like the Tardis from the tv series Doctor Who. It u s extremely soft, and is rather large. It is definitely a must have for any Whovian. I personally have not washed it yet so I can't speak for if it fades fast or not. I'll update it when I do wash and remember to edit.

Als großer Dr. Who Fan bin ich über einen amerikanischen Händler auf diese Decke gestoßen. Da ich aber ungern im Ausland bestelle und dann nicht weiß, ob es Probleme bei der Rücksendung gibt, fiel meine Wahl auf Amazon. Das Paket war sehr leicht und ich dachte schon, es handelt sich um eine ganz leichte, billige Fleecedecke, die es für ein paar Euro im Billigladen gibt und dafür hat man dann über 30 Euro bezahlt. Aber nach dem Auspacken war ich sehr positiv überrascht. Die Decke ist für den Preis auf jeden Fall hochwertig. Mehr als 30-35 Euro würde ich aber nicht dafür bezahlen. Die Farben sind kräftig, die Decke ist sehr kuschlig und hält warm. Sie ist mittlerweile meine Lieblingsdecke. Sie ist groß genug, dass man sich richtig einrollen kann und gut verarbeitet. Auf jeden Fall ein schönes empfehlenswertes Produkt für Fans von Dr. Who :-)-
