Give life to your old Maglite!
I had a skull crusher Maglite in my garage. I always love it but the bulb was failing and casted that yellow light that old school bulbs projected. I didn't want to buy a new bulb and have a brighter, yellow light so I looked to see if I could upgrade. I stumbled upon this LED bulb and gave it a whirl. The difference was astounding. Now I have a brighter, bluish/white light that gives magnificent detail the old bulb couldn't provide on its best day. I ended up buying a LED bulb for my little 2AA flashlight. Easy to install and a great value. Give it a try!

Very bright, exceeded expectations.
My Mag-lite original bulb was a disappointment. With this replacement it is a torch. Great focus beam now. Install was simple and fit was perfect. This Mag-lite is the 2-D model.

Dim or flickering? Try this!
I was at the point of returning this because the bulb was flickering with low light level. Long story short: the little solder nib on the bottom of the bulb that makes contact is made out of low lead nor no lead solder. Its harder and doesn't deform to make contact like older softer lead solder. I took a emery board and slightly flattened out the solder nib. The bulb has good contact now and is bright and steady. I estimate it is about three times brighter than the stock bulb.

Excellent performace for the price - Beats original lamp performance by far.
Although suspicious about the performance, I ordered some to try. I am completely satisfied. The extended LED pill still allows the Maglite beam focus function just as the original incandescents, and the 2-cell Maglite has apparent brightness as good as my 4-cell Mags. I would buy these again if one ever failed.

Great Bright Replacement Bulbs for 2-C cell Maglite flashlight 25-30 yrs old
I have a 2C cell Maglite that is probably 25-30 years old. The regular bulbs that usually come with it were so dim, even with new batteries. I bought these and it was a one for one swap. Take out the old incandescent bulb and pop in the new one with fresh batteries. Very bright and a great way to rejuvenate the old Maglite. I recommend these bulbs. Need to get the bulbs for my 3D cell Maglite soon, that is in the same situation.

Illuminating Dreck?
Purchased the two bulb pack on Sept. 14,2024 to upgrade my Mag-Lite 2D battery flashlights that I keep on hand for our Fl. hurricanes. They have not been used except to verify they work well along with functioning two cell D batteries. Today one flashlight’s bulb had a noticeable crack type of sound after being turned on and then no longer lit. The other flashlight’s bulb would illuminate but it was so dim to be of any use. All other flashlight parameters were examined and found to be working normally. Both bulbs have less than 15 minutes total burn time and are less than 1 year old and been kept indoors at all times. This purchase costing $14 plus change was a complete waste and borders on fraud. Only one bulb had any marking on it, namely 3v3w, while its companion bulb lacked any manufacture’s marking of any kind. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT. COMPLETE DRECK! RATING GRADE “0”.

Works fine, but...(3V ONLY!)
3.5 stars, but I want to preface this by saying this lamp blew out because I used it in the wrong flashlight. I have a 3 D-Cell MAG Light, that's around 4.5V. I didn't realize that these LED lamps weren't voltage regulated, so when I bought this one, I figured it would be fine. In fact, it worked for about 2 months of nearly daily use without an issue. It blew out the other day I thought because it couldn't handle the cold. It was only when logging into Amazon to find out when I bought the lamp that I realized it was a 2 cell only LED. It even says it (multiple times) on the item page. In fact, I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did (I think the cells were drained just enough so when I put in new batteries it fried). The reason this doesn't get higher than 3.5 stars isn't because it's a bad product, it's because TRLife literally an identically looking lamp on their store that does literally every other combination of cells EXCEPT 2 cells. Why does this product even exist? If they can make an LED capable of 3-16 cells, why not make one capable of 2-16 cells and avoid any potential confusion? I'm going to get the appropriate lamp (from TRLife most likely), but I put this here so people realize that these things do blow if the wrong voltage is put into them, so just be careful. If you have a 2-Cell flashlight, I say go for it; it worked perfectly fine for me for 2 months in the wrong flashlight, so I'm confident it'll be just fine in the right one for far longer.
