Write This Book: A Do-It-Yourself Mystery (The Secret Series)

Write This Book is full of extremely helpful tools, ideas, and more to help you (or Pseudonymous Bosch, really) write your own mystery or other genre book. Pseudonymous Bosch and his rabbit/scribe Quiche are full of activities, fun, and laughs. This book helped me and will help you too.

A little disappointing. Daughter lost interest early in the book. O well.

I bought all the books in this series and this one for my granddaughter. These are her favorite books. She has read them and wrote in this one twice, so far.

Our 10 year old child has been an avid reader and a fan of the Secret Series. However, she has always disliked writing. This book definitely encourages a reluctant young writer to be engaged and successful in the process. It would be great to know if there are other similar books to continue her interest and enjoyment.

I bought this for my son. He really loves that he can write and rewrite his own story.

The very start of this book had me giggling. This soon got my kids involved. Well written for kids I would say from age 9ish, depending on reading and writing ability. Great to stimulate imagination.

Good idea, not quite as expected but certainly good for a bookworm kid!

If you are expecting the next story in the Secret Series, think again. This book is a book written about an unwritten book that you have to write. Sound confusing? Of course it is.In this book about a book, the author, I.B. Anonymous, the stunning and amazing author of a series about the Evening Sun, has gone missing under mysterious circumstances, and two characters, A____ and Z____ have to find and save him. However, the book is not completely written yet, so Pseudonymous Bosch comes and helps aspiring authors learn how to write.For just a casual reader, this is a somewhat interesting view into how a book is written. For an aspiring author, this book will allow them to cut their teeth on writing.A bit disappointing that it doesn't advance the plot of the Secret series much, but this is a fairly good standalone book.
