San Marcos Whole Jalapenos, 6 Lb, 97 oz, Carefully handpicked Whole Jalapeños Peppers

I used to be able to buy these peppers at the grocery store but lately was only able to find the sliced Jalapeno peppers. So from my perspective the great feature is I was able to but the peppers online and have them shipped to my home. A gallon is a lot of peppers so I would recommend that once the can is opened the peppers be stored in quart or pint glass canning jars with lids.

I've eaten jalapenos most of my life and I'm now 64 years old. San Marcos jalapenos amazing seasonings make these the very best jalapenos I've ever eaten. I've very glad I tried them about 10 years ago because San Marcos is all I ever buy now. Highly Recommend!

I transferred the contents to a sealable canning jar for refrigeration. After removing a few from the jar it is possible to add slices of green peppers, olives or whatever for pickling. It doesn't take long for the items to absorb flavor from the liquid. I added 1/2 tablespoon of Alum for crispness.

I love the taste, and love the fact that therer are some sliced carrots in the can as well (not much, though). I quickly emptied the can and put the content into three glass jars (I wash and recycle glass containers). They went into the fridge. I used them now and then, and it is always fresh and spicy.

I love Jalapeños and have bought a lot of disappointing cans or Jars but THESE are unbelievably good! A little crunch, more then medium heat but not scorching hot ( but not mild or even close to mild). I just ate 3 with chicken pot pie and I ordered another 6lb can minutes are eating them YUM YUM PERFECT for me.

I was expecting only pickled jalapeños as per description of this product but it’s not only jalapeños. They come with cut carrots and onions. Taste is good but description is not accurate.

Quality whole, pickled jalapeños with carrots and onions. A large restaurant-sized can is a good value. I recommend moving the contents to a large glass, lidded jar upon opening (a gallon-sized pickle jar works nicely. Not an over-abundance of onions or carrots, which are used heavily as a filler in other brands.

These are not simply pickled, they are more "marinated". The peppers are soft with a wonderful flavor while the carrots are firm for a nice contrast.
