Functional, practical, slim, perfect for small spaces
The Anker power strip is a great solution when you need a slim strip and not too many outlets, perfect for a desk, the bedroom, the kitchen or any other area where you also use USB chargers. I just needed some extra outlets at my desk without creating too much bulk, and the 3-Outlet power strip was perfect for that.I'm not technical savvy enough to make statements about power, voltage or other electrical details. It just works as it's intended and even the USB ports charge really fast my phone and headphones. The strip is very light and easy to travel with (especially in a gaming backpack, or any fitting 15-17'' laptops), but doesn't skip on cord length. The plug is really small and can fit in tights places. The power strip body is slim and doesn't take too much surface.Overall the plastic and body seem good quality, not something easily breakable. The layout isn't that spacious, it fits most plugs, but definitely not 3 huge ones. The USB ports provide Turbo Charging for my Moto G smartphones.

Nice design, great quality AND it protects
I have had this for a few months now, and loved the look, very nice quality and nicely designed. Three USB ports very handy, and three regular. What I loved about this product is that the surge protector really worked. I noticed one night the plug strip wasn't working and wondered why. Through process of elimination I wondered if perhaps there was a power surge. I looked for the reset bitton. And there it was, on the side. I pressed the reset with the small needle I use for my SIM card and it started right on. Loved that it protected my valuable electronics. I reccomend.

Very good quality and charges fast!
I was not going to give it any “star” because I received a defective product. The power switch was loose and does not light up. I still tried charging my cellphone, but it keeps making that sound that alerts you, it’s not charging properly.I put everything back in the box to return, but thought of calling Anker Customer Service first.I spoke to a nice lady named Rochelle and she said I do not need to Return the product, a replacement will be processed and mailed to me.And sure enough, after 2 weeks (it was a holiday weekend at that time) I received the replacement and it’s working perfectly!I love the quality and feel of the material, and it may look thick and heavy to bring when you’re traveling, but it’s not that heavy. Just right. And it charges really fast! I can’t believe I just charged my “dead” Bose blueTooth earphones and it’s fully charged before I even finish this review!I love it! I love all the Anker stuff I have!

I wish I had bought this sooner
I was tired of my old power strips with the outlets arranged in such a way that plugging in a single charger or bulky transformer meant covering up two outlets, reducing the capacity of the power strip. With this charger I could eliminate the need for bulky chargers by using the provided USB ports. In addition, the outlets have been turned 90 degrees from the traditional outlet arrangement, so even if I need to plug in a bulky charger or transformer, it does not block another outlet. Lastly, the outlets are spaced far enough apart, that anything you plug in, no matter how large, is not going to take up more than one outlet space.I don't use this for traveling, but it is lightweight enough that taking it along would not be a problem. Personally, I would likely choose something more compact with fewer outlets/USB ports, because I can't imagine I would need that many when traveling.I'm going to be purchasing more of these, not only for myself, but also to give as gifts. I have always had good luck with Anker products, and this power strip is the same high quality as the other Anker products I own.

Minor inconvenience with the prongs
Not much to say here. It's a pretty standard power strip that works as intended, with a nice sleek design I mainly got it for the convenience of having 3 usb outlets, and anker is a company I believe to be pretty reputable. The only minor issue is that the three prongs are fixed, so that you have to plug them into an outlet in that particular position. I would prefer if the prongs had 360 movement, as some power strips do, otherwise you would have some problems plugging the powerstrip if you had obstructing furniture on one side. Other than that, it seems to be fairly reliable at a slightly more expensive price than your average powerstrip.

great improvement from conventional ones
I was so impressed by this surge protector made by Anker, I used to have a conventional product on my desk. It is very cheap, but I regretted once I used it. It has 6 AC outlets, but I can use 3 of them at most. I hate the layout. I cannot plug in my third or fourth adapter! The larger space of Anker surge protector is such an amazing design for me. I can plug in my 3 adapters at the same time, and the most important part for me is that I can free the 4-USB chargers and just plug the cables in the surge protector. This is really convenient for me, making my desk clean. It is not cheap but definitely a good investment. The button is elegant and feels quite different with other surge protectors I used. The product also has an internal safety mechanism on each outlet. This is awesome as I always read books with my son on the table and it really bothers me if my son messes up my devices.

Almost perfect power strip. Definitely the best compared to many other brands!
I've seen quite a lot of different power strips of various brands and purchased quite a few in the past years, and Anker so far is the definite winner. I like the overall design, the convenience (of not needing to plug in external USB chargers that would occupy the free slots) thanks to the built-in USB outputs, and the durability of its power cord and of the power strip itself (I'm not chewing on it or trying to really destroy it, but, you know, occasionally some hard things tend to fall down and land exactly where it would be, etc.)Just one suggestion to Anker - make the universal mounting holes to allow for it to be mounted to the wall in any orientation.

For my wife
This is her next to the bed power strip. Does all she needs and it's compact.
