Most dog proof frisbee I've found
My border collie LIVES to catch the frisbee, leaping 4 feet like a wide receiver pulling in the game winner. Lighter, harder plastic frisbees fly the best, but unfortunately don't last very long...just catching them starts putting teeth marks and holes in them, and in no time, they literally fall apart.I tried a number of rubber frisbees, and the WestPaw is the best of the bunch overall. It is heavy duty rubber, so it's easy on his mouth. It flies OK, it tends to hook to one side, but I've learned to throw it to the side of my dog, so when it hooks, it goes toward him and he can do his leap for it.The main thing...it is virtually indestructible...not a single hole or tear in the one we've had for a couple years. That one got lost--it'll turn up, he'll find it in the brush eventually--so I replaced it last week and the new one is just as good. Expect it to last for years. I've tried a bunch of rubber ones, and they are either too flimsy, or too heavy, and either don't fly well, or just don't last. These are the real deal and the combination of flyability, durability, and comfort for my dog. Great product.

Husky loves this thing, now it's stuck on the roof.
I really like everything about this $10 frisbee from westpaw. I did a bunch of reading and educating myself on the whole process of puppy teething and also pleasing textures etc, and I think it was AKC that recommended this frisbee among many other. Of all the things I ordered, this is the only one she still loves. She dislikes really hard/firm toys so it sucks because most of the softer stuff, obviously, is easy to tear apart. Now, this little freak of toy nature falls in between. She is a 55lb+ husky mix puppy and we play tug of war with it, as in it can withstand her nearly being off the ground holding on to this thing. It is sort of the texture of firm silicone, like good oven gloves. She has not pierced it with her teeth yet, although I have seen photos of other dogs succeeding in chewing holes in it. I do not let her use it as a chew toy, since it is primarily a frisbee. We use it for tug of war and for fetching. It ends up being a treat every time she sees it. I have a lot of other toys I rotate in and out, but I collect them all back for the next fetch session. She has other toys she can chew on in the meanwhile. Lot of people report that it is easy to throw. It sure is. And it is light enough that a good breeze carries it even further. Last night the breeze carried it right onto the roof of my house, balanced right on the apex. I can't reach it with my ladder so will probably end up buying another one. I also throw it side-armed badly and it gets this little wobble that the dog is fascinated by. But yes, it is sturdy, light, flies like the wind, and just fun.

Safe for dog teeth! Our dog's prized possession
Our dog lives for playtime with this toy. He used to have some hard plastic discs he adored but we figured out that they were causing him issues with his teeth after he cracked two in a year. According to our vet, dogs should only chew on items that are soft enough you can indent them with your thumbnail. These were actually an improved replacement for his previous toys because they're springy and bouncy which is extra fun for our dog. He plays with it for about an hour a day and they hold up really well to his extensive abuse. Eventually he'll manage to slice it with a dew claw, which will then eventually will lead to the middle getting ripped out. But they last a long time and at their price point I could buy him a replacement one as needed for the rest of his life and never spend as much as I'd spend on another cracked tooth that needs to be removed. The glow in the dark version is really cool and glows for hours after just sitting in the sun for the day.

Tougher than a Kong
I have 2 dogs, a German Shep and a Australian Shep. Both are High Energy and love ball and Frisbee chasing. The like Frisbee chasing the best because they can play Tug Of War with a Frisbee. Chasing a Green Ball does not allow T.O.W. Regular cheap Frisbees are worthless for dog playing. They do not hold up.Soooo - I bought the KONG RUBBER FLYER, thinking this Frisbee would be a good choice for my dogs. WRONG. The Kong was cheaper $ than the West Paw but it only lasted a week before getting rips. After about a month it was in tatters and useless.I decided to go back to Green Ball chasing for a while. Green Balls last a while, are cheap, but do not allow TUG Of War. My dogs were quite unhappy. No more T.O.W. means less fun. So I broke down and got this West Paw Zisc Toy. First I noticed the West Paw is a harder type material. The Kong seemed like a rubber material. Next I noticed that the West Paw does not Fly as well as the Kong. (Neither fly as well as a regular Frisbee). However - this West Paw is Tough. I have had it for 7 weeks now and after daily chase and Tug of War playing the West Paw does not have any damage. This is quite remarkable. Remember, I throw the Frisbbee and 2 dogs go as fast as they can go to get it. Only one dog gets the Frisbee. He tries to return it it to me but the other dog grabs it and the T.O.W. begins. Usually the Aussie wins and brings it back to be thrown again. We usually play daily for 15 minutes. This gets the dogs good and tired and also makes them very happy. Makes the owner happy too.Verdict: Even at a much higher price The West Paw is a better choice for 2 dogs that love Tug Of War. The West Paw is MUCH tougher.

Great Quality
I've ways loved the attitude with WestPaw products being recyclable.Got this one for training tug drive in my latest dog because she loves chewing on rubber. Will update with photos and video of her playing with this item rather than her DIY toys with household items.

My baby loves it ❤️ 💕
Everything about it is great. I have a german shepherd and the tend to be rough. It can withstand her chewing. The reason I gave it a 4 was because like everything in this world it seems smaller than my previous one, which she didn't destroy but was lost. 😊

resistente
