There are 48 packets in the bag

They work both ways! They work best in an airtight container, but I also put them loosely in my drawers. I’ve been using them for years and have never had a problem. I highly recommend them!

Less often than once per year. Thinking back i have skipped a year in between orders. More than once.

I actually haven't needed to open the package as yet, but it looks like quite a number of small oblong packets approx. 3"x 1"; maybe 50-100?
