Does the top coat turn yellow? I tried the Beetles brand and both the base and top coat gels are slightly yellow

My base coat HAS gotten the little yellow tint to it. But luckily it's just the base coat.

Do the top coat brush hairs stick together and need frequent cleaning?

No. I did not have a problem that. But the base coat would not dry enough for me to be able to use nail polish on it. I know it is to be tacky, but it stayed wet, even after waiting 15 minutes. My nail polish ran off of it. Not a good product. I complained to the company and they did nothing about it! Waste of money. My grand daughter is a nail tech by trade and she said the base coat stinks, too!

do this need to sand / file the nail plate ? Some do not require filing or roughening of the natural nail plate

I found that when I prep the nail it does adhere better and for longer.
