Great college-ruled composition book---I'll definitely be ordering another when mine fills up. I'm using it as a journal for a college composition class, and it could not work better, not to mention everyone loves the dinosaur design! The pages are noticeably thicker than ordinary loose leaf, and even my fountain pen doesn't bleed through. On the inside of the covers is a random collage of facts and art, and since I didn't know about it before I purchased it, it was a lovely surprise. The binding is tight and neat, but I wouldn't consider it sturdy---not sturdy enough to be rough with it and sling it around or break the spine and fold the front to the back. It's only bound with a single string, so if you tear out a page in the front, you'll have to catch the adjacent page in the back, because it won't stay by itself. It's been about a month and a half since I purchased the item, and so far, there are only a few 'chips' towards the bottom where the design is flaking off of the cardboard, but it's nothing major, so it's no concern of mine. Other than that, it's holding up well.

I like the decomposition notebook series, and love this design (topo map on the outside, outdoorsy sketches of trees and animals inside). The cover tore a little earlier than I would have liked, but it is supposed to degrade, so I can live with that. The graph paper interior is okay; if it were college-ruled or blank pages it would be my favorite ever.

I bought four of these notebooks because my fiancée found and purchased one in a local store and I couldn't pass up an opportunity to try them myself. First, the designs/artwork are really cool and give the notebook a unique feel that a traditional composition book doesn't quite do. Second, they are 100% Post-Consumer Waste which if you care about the planet, you can feel good that this wasn't made with new materials and is mostly, if not totally, biodegradable. Third, it is just as good of quality as any other composition book on the market, and lastly, it is really affordable! If you do journaling, note taking, or simply need a basic notebook, get one of these.

I bought these for my daughter in high school because they are the right "aesthetic". Hopefully, whoever is reading this knows what that means becuase i grew up with paper, wooden pencils and trapper keepers. When silly me questioned the cost of what is essentially just paper, I was told that by buying cheaper products, I am a tree killer. So I saved some trees and made my daughter happy so I guess that makes this purchase a win win.

I received this notebook in a timely fashion and was able to use it for my class that night. It has beautiful artwork on the cover and inside of the book and makes for a great conversation. The product in itself is eco-friendly and made from recycled paper, however, unlike some 100% recylced products I have seen in the past, the quality is amazing. I love the detail that went into the drawings inside and on the cover of this. One problem I have had in the past with decompostion books, whether in high school or college, is trying to find your own book among the other 20-100 books the teacher has laid out on his/her desk for collection. I can assure you that you will never have that problem! I absolutely love this product and will purchase one again in the furture once my current one is filled.

This notebook is well-made and comes in an array of colors. The parsley cover is what I chose. It’s beautiful! I recommend The Decomposition Notebook!

Me encanta prácticamente toda la colección de los Decomposition Books. Tienen un aire nostálgico y vintage y de igual forma son elegantes y curiosos. Es un cuaderno sencillo. Hojas normales, cubierta normal. Sin embargo, es el diseño lo que hace único este producto. Under the Sea es sofisticado, juguetón y su color le confiere un toque de tranquilidad acorde con la ilustración del mar y el arrecife. En las guardas tiene unas ilustraciones formidables de estilo antiguo. Las hojas son recicladas (de ahí su nombre) y me parecen normales, no de excelente calidad pero tampoco mediocre. Después de todo, es un cuaderno. Escribo con bolígrafos y la tinta no se ha traspasado nunca. Un punto un tanto negativo que debo añadir es que el cintillo negro del lomo es propenso a despegarse, además de que la pasta no está plastificada, por lo que tiende a ensuciarse con cierta facilidad. Yo no me arriesgué y lo enmiqué enseguida. Creo que quedó mejor, más brillante. Sí, son cuadernos costosos, eso hay que admitirlo. Si solo necesitas uno para escribir cualquier cosa, entonces los Decomposition Books no te convienen, pero si buscas una libreta para usarla como journal, podría ser perfecto.
