These globes are SMALL which suited me fine because I live in a small apartment. I've been looking for globes for ages because I like looking at the world from different perspectives - from a pole view, to say Middle East countries where 'East' is Up not 'North' (as in ancient maps) and flat maps don't quite do it.The two most important features for me are the size - small - and the ability to move them around quite a bit to get different views.I'd say that they are NOT suitable for kids to play around with - too fragile for that - and really too small for educational purposes. But for a 60+ year old living in a tiny retirement apartment who just likes messing around with world view from different centres, they are perfect.

Bought as a Christmas present for a curious child. One of the globes split in two almost immediately. We wedged it back together a number of times before finally giving up and tossing it in the bin.

Bought these as ornaments. Ok if you want to look for a country but too small for anything else. Good quality and look good.

They're nice and look OK but I put my ones on the window cill inside and they both suffered sun damage.

Bought these for my grandson whose 3 1/2 he loves them.
