Old Fashioned Cheese Bacon De Lish Cheese Spread, 8 Ounce

A Tasty "Real Cheese" Spread for whatever I choose to put it on. The "Old Fashioned Cheese Bacon De-Lish" is a great tasting product made from real CHEESE. I always believed you get what you pay for and this Cheese Spread is worth the price. It was delivered next day service, no delays. I've developed a taste for "Triscuit" Crackers which taste great when topped off with a good cheese of choice. I take advantage of a good cost savings and I will be adding "Old Fashioned Cheese" Cans to accompany these Triscuit Crackers. I will recommend both of these products to family and friends.

I'm assuming it's due to big brother oversight of some of the edible bad choices out there for people that squeeze cheese is disappearing from many store's shelves. As a veterinarian, however, I use a lot of this for my toughest customers to distract and keep them happy during exams and shots if they are nervous. I've used many cheeses and this one is one of their favorites. Never tasted it myself but arrived un-expired and in working order and patients LOVE it. Only downsides are a can doesn't last long, when it runs out it makes scary exploding noises as it shoots out the finally little blips. The consistency is great for smearing a thin layer in a bowl to keep a patient occupied (less is more when compared to more liquidy squeeze bottle type cheeses since this is thicker and stickier to lick off). One word of warning for the 0.000000001% of the population using it for the same reason as me, don't just apply loops to the bowl- one lick and their tongue picks up your entire design, you've got to use a tongue depressor or something to smear in around, then it sticks like tasty glue.

It tasted of bitter chemicals. I haven't used a lot of squeeze bottles in a while, but all the ones I got seemed to have this issue, so it's possible I just had high expectations. This tasted just like the squeeze bottles, but was thicker. Much easier to use, but still not as good as Easy Cheese in my opinion.

The Bacon & Cheese flavor is really Good. The Texture and Consistency is really Bad. Sometimes it spits and spurts out of the can or is hard to come out. In every can, very disappointing. The Flavor is Good.

Got three of these because my kids and I love bacon flavored stuff and I love spreading this stuff on crackers. Over 6 dollars a bottle. My daughter in law noticed that labeling was doubled and peeled it away. 1st-The words on back are not even in English. Then It says it IS available in bacon, nacho and other flavors and this is supposed to be Bacon but tastes nothing like bacon which is why she started investigating. when peeling the top label off, BAM!, it's REGULAR cheese underneath for the original label. So someone is making people think it's a flavor it's not. Not cool at all to do that. If i wanted Regular tasting cheese spread I could have gotten it for a dollar, NOT 6 a bottle. Getting a refund which I'm glad but people beware. Not a happy customer at all. I was so looking forward to the bacon flavor. Shame SHAME

Review of "Old Fashioned Cheese Bacon De-Lish Cheese Spread." When I found this product on Amazon, I took a chance and gave it a try. I have been an Easy Cheese customer for a while, but there was something about their cheddar and bacon flavor that wasn't quite right. But until recently, I thought they were the only game in town. No more! This product, Bacon De-Lish Cheese Spread, has a much smoother texture and creamier taste. It's kind of like comparing your dollar store chocolate with Ghirardelli chocolate - there is no comparison. I'm not saying Easy Cheese is bad, because it's not. But I am saying that Bacon De-Lish is way better. My spray cheese budget now goes for this product. -Fred

I used to have the hardest time getting my dog to take his monthly flea/ heart worm preventative. He absolutely loves this product and takes his medicine with no issues if I put some of this on it. It has also worked really well for liquid medicines for him.
