I was really happy with this spool of cable, for the do it yourself-er it is a big help to have a quality product at an affordable price.

We use this cable throughout our warehouses. We have ran 1,000's of feet of this cable. Holds up great and is tough. No complaints. Always the go to cable for large projects.

Overview: This cable is okay for certain uses. I would recommend it for making patch cables, or doing short, or occasional wire runs. I would recommend that you have at least two people if you are using this cable for 100+ Ft. Runs, as you will need someone attending the box, or you will be doing a lot of back and forth movement.I do not recommend this cable for any professional who will be pulling with multiple boxes, long distances, through conduit, or 100+ Ft. runs with a single installer. It is more cost effective to spend the extra money on a better wound box of cable, as through the life of the box of cable, an installer will waste more than an hour removing kinking from the wire over the life of the box.My recommendation to the manufacturer: Examine your packaging, modify it to allow for a smoother pull. This box design causes very frequent kinks, and knots, which will reduce the cables speed rating on long runs. (100+Ft)Pros:* Least expensive cable you can probably find or buy online in the US.* Cat5e Rated (Claimed, untested as of 6/25/2012.* 24 AWG* Good for short runs, patch cables etc.* Great box to keep on hand as an emergency box of wire.Cons:* Cable Tangles Easily while pulling from box.* Cable knots regularly and will have several pinches throughout any long pull from the box. Did a network install for an Arena for a small private college with this Cat6 cable. It was easy to manage, pull and punch down. The only complaint I can think of is that it regularly got hung up inside the box - it would twist and then not pull smoothly out. It's not a deal breaker - I was more interested in its ability to carry a signal and for those purposes, it worked great. Punching it down took a toll on my nails, but that happens, regardless of which cable you pick. It's a good choice for install purposes.

I bought this despite all the negative reviews and I must admit this has got to be the best cable I've worked with. In the last two days I've already used up roughly 300 feet and have gotten none of the problems others have listed such as kinks. The cable comes out of the box perfectly, without getting stuck, kinked or tangled. I'll admit, the wires are much more stiff than those I've worked with before however I find this much easier to work with as wires will stay where you put them before you put them into a connector. I've found no cons with this product what so ever, and plan on buying another box once this one runs out.

It is decent. You get what you pay for.

Rewired my home network. This cable allowed me to create low cost but reliable data ports in my home office. I even made a few patch cords along the way. This was much better and lower cost than buying 50 or 100 foot patch cords.
