I feel like only Cobian Rainbow & Olakai have the shape for a sandal right. For me, Cobian nails it with the top 3: 1) Perfect fit - most too slim for me & toes fall off 2) Comfort - don't mistake this for fit 3) Durability - they last me ~ 1.5 years (I'm brutal on sandals). My 2cents is look no further as these are the best sandals your feet will ever meet.

I was never a flip flop guy, but one day while working in Florida, I decided to buy a pair in case I ever got a day off to go to the beach. I stopped into a boating store and discovered Cobian flip flops. These things are incredibly comfortable, have great support, and are perfect for life around the water. They dry quickly and still have excellent grip if they get wet. It has been about 10 years and I have about 5 or 6 pair, all in different colors - some duplicated for different purposes (i.e. gym, or house-wear). My original ones are still kicking. They aren't in great shape - some normal cracks, but they are certainly still good enough not to throw out, yet. I hope this company never quits, because I've never found a flip flop I liked before these. I'll have to order enough for the rest of my life if they decide to close the doors one day. They're that worth it.

These Cobian sandals are the most comfortable, well-built sandals I have ever owned. This is my second pair. The first pair lasted for years and held up great. They are stylish and comfortable with a thick sole and padded, plush straps. There is great arch support and the size (for me) was right on. I can't say enough good things about these sandals. You will not regret your purchase.

I only wear Cobian flip flops. These are my 2nd pair. I'm a woman but I like the comfort, durability and sporty style of the men's flip flops better than the women's. I wear a size 9 in women's shoes but I wear a men's size 7 in Cobian sandals. The 7 is a perfect snug fit with arch support. They stay on my feet when hiking to the beach or around town. Don't have to worry about them slipping off . The reasons I gave these 4 stars instead of 5 is because I truly loved my first pair of Cobian Suave sandals but they no longer make that style.They were in my opinion the perfect sandal. After almost 5 years it was time for a new pair. I found these Cobian Arv2 sandals and decided to give them a try. I also bought a pair for my Husband in a men's size 12, ( his 3rd pair of Cobian's). Very supportive and cushioned but as some of the other reviews mentioned there is stitching in the arch area that some people find irritating. For myself I notice it is there but it doesn't bother me. My husband hated the extra material and stitching at the arch. It really irritated his foot. He said if it wasn't there they might be the best sandals he's ever owned. I kept mine and he is returning his. So I would say they are worth a try. You will either love them or hate them.

Bottom line your never going to find another sandal as Flip Flop as Cobain's ARV 2 Flip Flops. My second pair in fours years.

These are replacements for my old Cobian flip flops, that the soles literally wore through after a couple of years of above average use! Best flip flops ever!!! Highly recommend this brand.
