You would be better served finding a similar product with belt loops already installed.

Will this block a 5g signal also?

The Faraday Bag is a type of "faraday cage", available from many vendors. It should block almost any signal, including 5G, provided that the Faraday Bag is tightly closed and is not defective. You can test this yourself. Just put any cell phone which is powered up and ready to receive calls in the Faraday Bag. Then, try to call that phone with a 5G phone. The call should not be completed. (If the call somehow goes through to the properly closed Faraday Bag, send it back.) If you want, you can then take the phone out of the Faraday Bag and call it again to verify that both phones are working. A Faraday Bag should also protect electronic devices, including your phone, from an EMP event (Electromagnetic Pulse). Hopefully, this capability will NEVER be put to the test!

I don’t see it on my bag. My guess is China. But the important point is that it works, regardless of where it was made.
