This is a great chalk spreader unit.
This chalk spreader is very well designed and worked like a charm. I used lime powder in 40 lb bags and it worked perfectly. I marked booths for 230 exhibitors at the Big 4 Bridge Art Fair in Louisville, KY Sept 8th and 9th. The air filled tires on this unit makes it very easy to maneuver around on a typical lawn area. It was very easy to use and it was a great purchase at under $300. Love it !

This would be great unit and would get 5 stars if it weren't ...
The unit works ok but I had to completely take it apart and put it back together right out of the box as Quality Control in the warehouse must be lacking, the container/tub was mounted backwards on the deck. I had to pull the agitator and everything out spin the tub 180 degrees and remount everything. the small retaining clip on the lever to open/close fell of within the 2nd or 3rd use so you have to hold the bar while lining right now. This would be great unit and would get 5 stars if it weren't for poor quality control and some simple design flaws.

Item came dented and the bucket was assembled backwards.

Great product. Very heavy duty
Great product. Very heavy duty. Very easy to assemble even though the instructions weren't very clear. The issue was that it came already 50% assembled so much of the hardware it claims should be in the bag was already attached. I thought I would be short a bunch of hardware, but it ended up working out perfectly. I have to say I was disappointed with Amazon though.....it took them over a week to ship the product and that was after I called to complain. Had I not done that, I believe it still wouldn't be shipped.

Assembled incorrectly
Showed up in the box with the hopper assembled wrong(180* off). Took a good part of the afternoon disassembling and then reassembling. Bent some parts in the process.

I completely recommend it. Easy to use
I have now purchased 5 of these line machines (for youth baseball and softball facilities).I completely recommend it. Easy to use, durable, can do a 4" or 2" line as needed.The best part is the ease of use. Some other machines are difficult to push around, this one is not. With the 4 tires that do take air... maneuvers very well even with a full load of chalk in the hopper.
