How to Become a Successful Commercial Model

If you are dragging your feet or just afraid to dip your feet into the Commercial Modeling world, I highly recommend this book.So don't count yourself out! Everyone on the planet is a "commercial model", but it will take this manual of sorts, to give you the foundation and understanding of what you can expect and what you will practically need to continue to do to get work. I am currently working on getting Commercial shots, preparing my make-up bag, and clothes for future opportunities. Having Aaron's book to turn to as reference has been invaluable. This is a smart investment.

I have been trying to break into commercial modeling for 4 years. I have not found a book before with this information. Can’t wait to put it to work.

I had no idea how to go about getting into the modeling business, I purchased this book and read it cover to cover the first day. It covered every question I could think of and then some, definatly will pay for itself! I have since signed on with a modeling agency and booked a few jobs on my own as well as developing my portfolio with quality photos without paying a dime.

Aaron Marcus did a great job with this book. It is well written, has facts about the industry, shows you a step by step guide to entering the commercial modeling field in depth and have several references to contact to begin your journey. Images are included as well and this helps with a visual understanding about what is expected of models. His Style is very clear and straight to the point just how I like it, no sugar coating.

How to Become a Successful Commercial Model is a valuable resource for models at all stages of their careers. It gives aspiring models valuable advice on breaking into the business and the realities of the job. It also gives working models fresh insight on how to grow professionally and expand their careers.I've been a commercial print model for five years. I took Mr. Marcus' advice on self promotion. I really appreciated those tips because it was something I had never considered before. But since I started marketing and promoting myself, I've seen doors open in ways I never imagined.
