Will it work on a 15 feet tall concrete tank?

I believe I read in the description that it works for up to a 10ft. tank.

How far from the outside wall of the tank can the float line be?

My installation has the float line entering at the center of the tank, near the top hatch of the tank. For my 3000 gallon tank, that is about 4 feet from the side wall. The kit may not come with enough line, but you can buy the proper length locally. You of course have to add the correct length of PVC pipe that protects the line across the top of the tank. My system has been working fine for over 5 years.

What material is the float & float cord?

The float is actually made of polypropylene, and the rope is polyester.
