Replace this hose assembly entirely after 100K
If you are experiencing an unstable start up where the motor rev’s up and down then eventually levels out somewhat more than likely you have a Vacuum leak and this hose is notorious for breaking and cracking in places that you can’t even see again if you have the symptoms of unstable idle on start up reduce power then I believe this hose will be one of the problems you may have. I suggest changing this out every hundred thousand miles the parts are made from plastic and the plastic overtime heats and cracks a vacuum leak for a BMW is the worst thing you could ever have it throws all kind of errors and codes that you have to explore but this product worked perfectly and got rid of my issues.I would recommend this product to a friend or anyone who drives a BMW 3 Series xi because the dealership wanted 1000K to diagnose a replace part. I made this repair for under $50.It’s not easy to get on but if you take off the parts in the way you will be able to flex it on through and around to hook up..

Fits and works
Fits great but it’s just a more difficult part to install due to where the attachment points are on the engine. I recommend you use long reach needle nose pliers and 90° long reach.

Replacement worked - 09’ BMW E90
Replacement worked for my 09’ BMW E90. Old one broke off when trying to take off my intake manifold. HIGHLY RECOMMEND buying this hose, exact fit like OEM for a fraction of the cost! Picture attached is the old one that broke.
