I tried this as soon as I received it on a very thin, somewhat wrinkly shirt. It is very easy to use. You just put water in the tank up to the max line and put the top back on. After a minute or so, it starts to produce steam. There wasn't enough steam coming out to get out even the smallest wrinkles. The water spewed and gurgled out all over my shirt leaving the front of my shirt completely wet. I mean, yes, it is a good travel size and is very easy to use, but what is the point when it doesn't work at all to remove wrinkles. I would rather use the hotel iron.

This earns a “WOW” from our household! It’s simplistic design was deceiving at first, but I filled It with water and turned it on anyway. I tried It on a dress that had been scrunched up from packing, and the wrinkles literally just fell out. Emboldened, I tried It on my daughter’s bridal veil...again, the wrinkles dissolved before my eyes. Excited to keep trying it on other “hard-to-press” items and see if it continues to press and impress. So far, so good.

I"m a college instructor and my "uniform" of choice is a poly-blend golf shirt because such shirts tend not to wrinkle much. However, some were left in a stack of laundry and got severely wrinkled. I bought the KImryde steamer for the purpose of ridding these severe wrinkles. I'd say the steamer got about 75% of the wrinkles; it would have been more effective on a more moderately wrinkled shirt. Also I had to pass several times with the steamer whereas an iron would have gotten out the deep wrinkles faster, so I do like the convenience and fast setup with the portable steamer; however, for severe wrinkles, I will get out the ironing board. This device gets very hot. Keep away from children.

At first this product worked really well. Got every little wrinkle out of my clothes with ease. After I used it about 5 times, I started having issues with it. I can only use it for about a minute at a time and then it shuts itself off and I have to wait a minute before turning it back on. I use this to steam my scrubs and I can barely get one side of my scrubs done before it shuts itself off. Very frustrating.

It came well packaged. I filled it as per instructions and tried it on some clothes. Not only did it not release the wrinkles, it spurted water all over my clothes.I have requested a return for this product.

The media could not be loaded.  The first time I turned this on, I was like "WOW" never thought such a small unit could put out so much steam! I've had a slightly larger "name brand" steamer for a year before it failed on me, so I decided to try this one out as I travel about 14 nights/month and need something to do quick touch ups on suits etc. This is absolutely perfect!1. Great form factor and design -- it's the perfect size for travel and looks/feels really sleek and high quality.2. The output is amazing. Check out my video! So much steam from such a small unit, it's really incredible and delivers great results for releasing wrinkles.3. No sputtering or spitting out water! This was my biggest complaint with another unit I had. It would sputter after some time and start spitting water in small amounts as I was using it. Not with the Kimryde unit! I have used it for 2+ weeks and haven't had any such issues.4. Tank is easy to fill and the locking mechanism is easy to figure out to avoid any spills. It fits under hotel sink faucets making it easy to fill without any fuss.Overall, this is a product I'd highly recommend if you want something that's portable, high quality and puts out a massive amount of steam to get the job done quickly!

It does a pretty decent job of removing wrinkles--enough to definitely get the job done and wearable for work. It's not quite as good as an iron and struggles with certain stubborn wrinkles or certain materials. But most of the time it will do 80% to 85% of the same job as a traditional iron except it is more convenient to use (say goodbye to ironing board) and no risk of burning clothes. I definitely like to use it each night when preparing my work clothes, only about 5-10 minutes of steaming for a mostly wrinkle-free work shirt.

I like the fact that the manufacturer was honest about it. It is indeed for short-term use unless you have a lot of patience filling the container because it's small it doesn't hold much water and it's definitely for short-term use. Let me say it works great it does get rid of the wrinkles takes a little time but no longer than you would expect from a small steamer. I do recommend it for travel. I got a larger steamer for my business deciding on whether to keep this one for travel and backup. It's the best handheld of all the others believe me I've tried many before this one.
