Gave to my brother’s girlfriend who’s from China and asked for this as a Christmas present. I personally thought it seemed a little cheap and flimsy upon arrival, but she was THRILLED and super excited to receive it! I think the price was fair for what I received, though. Once I saw it I’d have been embarrassed to give it as a gift if she hadn’t asked for it, but it was straight off her list so it was great. Some other sites (including other Amazon sellers) were asking a RIDICULOUS price for this exact item...I’m just glad I didn’t overpay because it wasn’t worth a penny more. She really likes it and it’s still working, so I really can’t deduct any stars. Got what I paid for and recipient was thrilled! Just don’t pay $40 (or more!) for it...it’s definitely not worth THAT much. Also, it comes all folded up in a skinny box. You have to bend it all into place yourself. If you’re not at all crafty, you either need to be patient as you try to shape it just right or might find a friend who’s good at floral arrangements and stuff like that because that’s the kind of person I think it takes to get it to look like the photos. Lol! I could do it, but I have plenty of friends who’d never be able to make it look decent. Gotta have a little flair for design, I’d say. Or just not be picky...that would work too. I’m a perfectionist, though, so I’d have to get it “just right”. 🙄

3/28/2020: Purchased two of these mid Dec 2019. Xmas look, multi color led dots, no timer option. Mine worked fine from day one, still does. One given to a friend worked for a day, then didn't. AS I purchased this via Amazon, I returned it, had a replacement sent, gave it to my friends, and it's worked fine since. THEN...I purchased another one, recently, early this month, (3/2020), a pinks/purple color when on, and it's great, and this one HAS a timer option built into the on/off switch. I think it's a 5 or 6 hours run from when you turn it on, shuts off by itself. People who've visited when this has been on love the look. Again, my purchases were all from Amazon, so as a return was needed, it was done without any hassle, and no fuss.

Holy cow I didn't know this could be this beautiful and simple! I arranged all of the lights to look nice and spread out and voila! I plugged the USB into the wall using an old phones USB wall connector.

This looks very cheaply made. It looks very cool when turned on but when it is off it just feels empty and like it’s almost not there so it leaves a big hole wherever you decide to put this.... I tried to replace my lamp with this cool aesthetic but i just couldn’t get myself to like it as much. It also comes in a small box that shows everyone what it is and wasn’t even in an amazon box. Just weird how it was packaged. Overall I would not recommend this. Plus the price for this is not what I would’ve paid.... i could’ve gotten something like this at 5 and below ...

These are beautiful and give off enough light to perhaps not read but see well in the room. I am adding a second one to use as night stand lights on both sides of my daughter's bed.

I wish the s shape of the base tree were not so rigid so that I could be a little more creative. When I got mine I immediately destroyed the base because the tree I wanted to pose it like was not possible with the provided base. To this end, the remote is invaluable as is the small form factor of the PCB and overall light weight and ease of rewiring. Over all, this was a far easier and cheaper way to get the tree shape I needed despite needing to get my hands dirty to do so. In future revisions, a wieghted base option and poseable trunk would be phenomenal. As it is I made it work.

Love it just needs a couple of batteries last for ages lovely and soothing in my room on these winter nights originally got for my desk at work for Xmas decoration I loved it so much I bought it home now in my living room will be keeping it up all year not just for Xmas excellent value for money looks attractive not tacky.

This would be a really pretty light display except the trunk and branches are basically silver tape wrapped around wire lights. I thought it would be a silvery flexible material or metal. It looks cheap and not worth what was paid. I will probably return it.

This looks okay when lit up, was originally for a bedside light. Ordered the gold finish warm light and received the silver finish bright white instead - the colour I received doesn't look good in daylight when not lit, sadly.

Beautiful wee tree, great value, battery or plug in so can use in a spot where you don’t have a plug
