Polar Vortex 1200 Boots - These boots by Korkers are unlike any other you have seen on the market, as they're very adaptable and perhaps the best dialed-in at their task. Made out of high-grade leather and extremely durable rubber, on the surface these boots seem like any other pair of high-quality boots. However, it's in the details where you notice the separation. For instance, these boots have an interchangeable sole system, in order to adapt to any weather condition and surface. You get two separate outsoles with these boots, a SnowTrac and an IceTrac, each with a studded rubber lug system. The leather of these boots is also treated well to be 100% waterproof, to the point you could use these as waders. The insides also have a breathable bootie, 3M Thinsulate insulation for warmth and comfort, and much more. Korkers has its roots in the great Northwestern United States, where over 50 years ago they started to design boots that could hold up well in the water, on slippery rocks, and handle the weather. Korkers then branched out into designing safe, durable footwear for other applications that dealt with working and the winter weather.

Best Boot Yet!
Bought these for ice fishing. THE most amazing boot I have ever owned. I thought they would be a real pain to get on and off. The Boa system is sooooo easy. They slip right on and off. My left knee is shot so standing outside the truck trying to pull on boots in the snow with a weak knee is a pain at times. The Korker was like slipping on bedroom slippers. Once you tighten them down you feel like you are taped up and ready for a football game there is so much support. Highly, highly recommend. I usually were a 10.5 dress shoe and ordered 11's. Fit perfectly

Very warm and comfortable
When I received them they seemed rather stiff. But when wearing them they are very comfortable and support of the ankles is great. They are very warm (only wore them when temperatures were in low teens). More snow coming so will get used.

Great Buy
These boots are awesome. They are very warm and stay completely dry in snow and rain. I use them for all my winter outdoor activities and I especially like the interchangeable sole with the carbide spikes when ice fishing. I wear a size 14 and these fit great with a little extra room for wool socks for long sits while hunting. Very happy with this purchase.

These boots are so comfortable and light, feels like wearing sneakers. I have not been able to test them in really cold weather (10 degrees down to -20), but in the mid teens wearing just a cotton athletic sock or a mid weight wool sock my feet stayed warm and comfortable. Also tested the "cleat" sole ice fishing and I had no worries that I was going to slip and fall. If you are looking for an awesome boot for Upper Midwest winters, look no further than these.

Great boot!
The fit and comfort level of this boot is great. My feet don't get cold in single digit temperatures. I love the option of having the exchangeable soles, and the lacing system is amazing. All in all it was a great buy.

Best boots ever for warmth, no slip with cleat sole and amazing lacing technology
Use for snow clean up and snowshoes. No more hurting toes from the cold. Incredible lacing product!! Once I got the hang of changing the soles it is easy...was only a bit tricky since I am old and weak handed.
