These are much more durable than the cheap-o's at the big box DIY'er stores. I replaced my car battery, hand loosening and tightening nuts, removing and installing the battery cables and terminals, and hefting the old and new batteries out and in. And there was a variety of nudging and shoving in and around the battery enclosure, sliding my hands around rough plastic edges. In about an hour, the right glove survived intact while the left index finger blew out. And that was only in the last few minutes. With the thinner and cheaper gloves, I probably would have gone through 5 or 6 pairs. And add more for those that invariably break when trying to put them on.As others have mentioned, it's smart to get one size larger. They aren't as skin tight, but it's a lot easier to put on and take off, especially with the build up of sweat (these things do not breath).This product is a good balance of price and performance, and I plan on using them for household chores in addition to auto work. I would recommend, and I am likely to repurchase.

I actually hate to wear gloves to work on things. They seem to hinder me.These not only met my expectations of what I wanted in a glove, but exceeded them. These fit well and are tough, and at the same time are thin enough to allow me to pick up thin items and work with them easily.I looked through a lot of gloves offered on Amazon and settled on these. Even so, I was very reluctant to order any online thinking they might be too thin and tear easily like so many others I have used. I was very pleased to find that this was not the case with these. All I can say is that I still don't like to work in gloves but I like these and can work with them well enough.This is the first review I have ever written for an Amazon order. I really like these gloves.

These are decent nitrile golves. They fit well and are great for cleaning with chemicals, arts and crafts, fluid changes on vehicles, lawnmowers, cutting up onions, etc. So if you're someone with sensitive skin, these should fit the bill. One shortcoming of these gloves, the cuff is short to me. I wish they added another inch of height to better mitigate fluid intrusion.

I buy these for doing all sorts of things around the house that get my hands dirty. Changing oil/working on cars, dealing with chemicals, doing plumbing, etc. I've used these for almost 10 years now, and they have always been great quality, durable, and they seem to provide a pretty good tactile feel still, which is hard to find in a glove. Another thing you can do with these gloves is if you buy a size up, I put them over my fabric winter gloves to provide a layer of waterproofing to keep the gloves from getting wet while shoveling snow, snowblowing, or just playing in the snow with the kids...it keeps your hands dry and warmer, since soaked through winter gloves don't do you a bit of good. I highly recommend these gloves for anyone looking for a strong glove that has great feel and will hold up to more abuse than most!

Good fit, I order XL and they seem to hold up pretty good to wax and oil just as good as the venom gloves if you ask me.

In the past I had been used a pair of blue gloves that were rated high. These gloves I think I ordered Extra Large.. They seemed to fit well buta little short on the wrist. These Microflex gloves are fantastic. I put a new inner tube in a 8 " x 4.8 tire and using tools, bars, etc and a lot of force...not so much as a tear in the gloves. They are thicker and a lot more durable than any other glove I have bought. I just added them to my wish list for the next time I need more gloves !

I spent more than a decade in EMS - when I started, we wore powdered latex gloves. By the end of a shift, our pants would be covered with that awful powder. Then the powder-free latex gloves came out, and finally they started changing to non-latex gloves when I left the field. I remember them being pretty awful, tearing way too easily and being slippery. But these nitrile gloves are awesome. They're flexible, go on easily, and are durable enough for an oil change or other work on the car (which is what I use them for now).The XL size fit my large hands perfectly. Highly recommended.
