Great little outdoor personal heater
I bought two items. One arrived fine but the other was severly damaged during shipping. The seller was responsive and refunded the damaged unit. My other unit works great as an outdoor personal heater. Although description says it can be used in a tent, instructions specifically said not to use indoors or in a tent. Overall i am happy with the quality of the product and the amount of heat it generates.

nice and warm
Flimsy and lacking in safety features, this unit nevertheless provides the most heat from smallest size and weight. So long as you don’t let it out of sight you will reap the benefits of lightweight heat.

This is not compatible with 250g canister FYI, only 100g or 230g
I bought a 100g butane tank and connected right to it. I bought an adapter for propane. I put the gas on the lowest setting I could run it on and this little thing throws serious heat. I would build a little brick cubby to keep it on.I couldn’t fathom trying to run this thing on full power.. it gives plenty of heat w very little fuel. Easy to use. It says on the directions to use only w butane and outdoors. I ran it in a screened in shelter on medium overnight and the 100g lasted about 3 hrs. I bought 250g canister only to find out it doesn't fit when I needed it in 48 degree weather.

DANGEROUS!!!
The heat output is okay, but the canisters are expensive. About $8 a canister, and will run for about 3 hours. The unit is cheaply made, flimsy and not even close to being worth $30. This thing is worth maybe $5. Wish I would have purchased something else. It can be bent by gently squeezing, and would likely get smashed in a backpack, even to the point of breaking.Save money and go with something better.UPDATE: Since writing my OP, the retention cap on the end of the burner has become separated.Update #2: Almost caught my van on fire 3 times, and continues to become more of a fire hazard every other day.DO NOT BUY THIS! YOU COULD DIE!!!I'm a person who has never been afraid of fire, and this thing is terrifying. The flame cage fell apart, and I have done surgery on it 5 times now.I'm going to have to get another heater. This one is a death trap.

It worked better than the propane one and much lighter.
It really puts out a decent amount of heat. The valve on it allows me to reduce the flow of fuel so that I can make the fuel last all night. The only thing that I would like is a starter button so I wouldn't need a lighter.

Wanted a Portable Heater
This item will work. It is light weight and east to set up. That said, the unit is rather "flimsy" and one must be careful when packing it or even using it. The metal is light-weight and I can imagine that it will get bent or even break simply through carrying in a back pack. I wanted this for emergency purposes and to have in my truck. I live in the mountains and sometimes get stuck or stranded on closed roads. The carrying sack is about worthless. It ripped as soon as I took out the heater. The metal cage on the heater poked a hole through the carrying sack. That was OK but disappointing. Frankly I have a better carrying sack that I was going to use anyways. Heat output is fair. The unit metal gets very hot so you do need to use this carefully and make certain that it does not fall over or come into contact with flammable materials. Sadly and very disappointing is the fact that the higher you go in elevation, the lesser the heat output. They do note that this is not a high elevation heater so if you plan to back pack in the mountains (above 5,000 feet) it is not so efficient. Thus if you plan to come to the Rockies, you may want to look for another unit. But it has been OK for my application and I live at 7,300 feet.
