I use this oil diffuser every single day at work for the full 8 hours. I have to fill it and run it two times when I run it on the continuous mist. I love how it changes colors which you can change in the settings. It's very easy to use and clean. I also love when it runs out of water, it automatically turns off itself so I never have to worry about turning it off at the end of the day. The length of the run goes for approximately 4 hours on the continuous mist, or a full day on the 30 sec on and 30 sec off. I think it was worth the money I paid for it and very worth the purchase. It fits perfect on my desk! Only reason I rated it 4 out of 5 stars is because after a couple weeks, the top is much harder to click on and off. But I make it work!

UPDATE: 2/16/16 - InnoGear must have read my review because very shortly after I posted, I got an email from them stating they were very sorry for my problems with the diffuser and offered to replace it. They upgraded me to a beautiful 300mL one - the 300ml Essential Oil Diffuser - InnoGear® Wood Grain Ultrasonic Cool Mist Aroma Humidifier with Timer Settings Color Changing LED lights Waterless Auto Shut Off for Home Office Baby. I emailed them my thanks and the girl told me she'd put in a replacement order for me. She told me it would arrive in a week. It arrived THE NEXT DAY. I thanked InnoGear again, told them I wanted to use it for a while before I upgraded my review. I've now used it for about 2 weeks. I'm REALLY enjoying it. It looks a little like Aladdin's lamp but it holds a ton of water (I used about 8 drops of essential oils in it) instructions for cleaning are included (however number of drops of oil isn't - I guess it's up to you for preference. I just doubled the amount of oil I used in the other one because this one holds 3 times more water). The lid doesn't lock on (so make sure to keep it away from kids and animals) but I actually really like that because it's easy to fill and refill. The lights are very pretty, it doesn't run intermittently like the original (on and off every 15 seconds), it runs for 1 hour, 3 hours 6 hours and continuously. It also has the option (I believe) of running full force or slightly lower output. Mine runs for 3-5 days before it runs out. The ease of operation is great and best of all - I'm smelling my essential oils instead of the musty weirdness my other diffuser was putting off. One note of caution: Be sure to follow the directions when disposing of water. There is a wrong side to pour out and a right side. Pay attention - if you don't, you can ruin the motor. Also, make sure the bottom is clear, there is air intake there as well. InnoGear gets a resounding 5 stars from me for customer service and caring. The diffuser does as well! If it changes I'll upgrade the review again, but for right now, I'm pretty pleased all the way around. Thanks InnoGear!! -------------------- I've had many, many different diffusers and have never had this issue. This is one I have in my office but I also have them in many rooms in my house. I got this one b/c it's pretty, a good price, has variable mist options and runs for a nice long while. But when I put in oils, what ends up coming out smells musty. I've cleaned it, I've soaked it, I've changed oils. It's embarrassing and makes me feel a bit sick. I normally LOVE diffusing, but I have to keep turning this off. I just can't figure it out but I give up. BTW, I use between 3-5 drops of either DoTerra, Young Living and/or Native American Nutritionals oils, I've used distilled water and tap water. I've finally ordered something else and am going to throw this away. Hopefully it's a "one-off" bad one and everyone else who uses this is having much better luck. My SIL has one and loves it! It runs the way it was described, it's operating flawlessly other than that pesky odor issue (the whole purpose of the diffuser) so I gave it three stars because of that.

So while I originally submitted a 5 star review, my opinion has now changed. A few weeks after I started using the humidifier, it started getting stuck and difficult to open. The lid would not budge and I'd have to spend a few minutes wiggling it loose. I thought it was mostly just my lack of strength and the poor gripability of the outside lid. I would leave it alone for a few days and it would eventually become easier to open. But I've recently come down with a bad cold and this has been a saving grace, so I've been constantly having to use it. Lo and behold, turns out the issue wasn't the outside lid, but rather the inner lid. Yesterday, I spent around 15 minutes trying to get it open. After one final tug, it finally broke loose, only to realize it was only the outer lid that broke loose and the inner lid was still stuck to the humidifier, like in the picture attached. It completely snapped off. Thankfully, the inner lid actually has more grippability, so it's not too hard to remove, but I guess the suction or maybe some kind of change in pressure had previously prevented it. Fortunately, it's still usable despite it now being three pieces. Funnily enough, I think I prefer it this way as it makes it much easier to open. But well it was definitely a huge struggle for a while. So be warned that it may be difficult to open at times and you might have to break it to use it. On the bright side, it doesn't leak, unlike other humifiers I've used, and it's quite easy to clean and use. A longer cord would have been nice, but that's the least of my concerns. I also like that it has two options for the spray, as well as a light.

Great little diffuser! Easy to fill and easy to clean. Bought another as my first one has lasted a while now and is still going strong. It's just the right size where you can move it around the house, although it does still need to be plugged in. Can be used as just a night light and stopped at any color you wish, or turn the light off if you only need the diffuser. That makes it handy in my book, as well as the price (especially when on sale).

I really like this because it has some great qualities and its so QUIET! ●AUTO SHUT OFF when the water is out. This prevents the motor from continuing to run which leads to it breaking or a 'growling' noise coming from the other room. ●QUICK ROOM PURIFIER! I add eucalyptus and peppermint oil to it- but a LOT- so it gives my living room a quick blast of fresh air. ● the price is perfect and it allows u to purchase multiple to spead around the house. ●the water capacity is about 1 cup so it doesnt overpower the room. Its just enough i can throw it on - and by the time my guest have arrived, its already shut off and they just think my home naturally smells clean and refreshed! ● the appearance is small and easy to hide. The 1st setting allows the light to change gradually from one color to the next, and when its not in use, its not taking up a huge area on the table. I would definitely recommend this for anyone to improve the air quality without overwhelming the space.

Didn’t realise this item was being imported from overseas. Which explains the foreign plug. Purchasing uk I assumed, perhaps naively that it would come with a uk plug, apparently not!

This is small enough to put in my bedroom on the nightstand. So easy work. Runs for a long time before it runs out of water. Colours that is changes to are very nice. Would definitely buy again.
