Decent optical drive at a great price. That said, the folks who shipped it sent it with a thin layer of bubble wrap in an envelope... luckily it seems to work just fine after installation, but next time... ship these with a bit more protective packaging please! *(UPDATE: They refunded the shipping cost and were very responsive about my issue. Good customer service!)Another note: I wasn't aware that it would arrive with the pictured retention clip. You may need a torx-5 screw driver to remove it before you can install it, as I did. So be aware when ordering.
